Relationships are all about give and take.
If I were flying in to SeaTac and my boyfriend didn't have to work I'd expect him to pick me up. If I were in his shoes I would WANT to go pick him up b/c I'd probably be missing him like crazy and would want to see him ASAP - even if that meant driving 2 hours (whoop dee do!) to Seattle. |

I know all too well what you are all talking about here. I dated a girl that I pretty much had to do everything for. I don't regret it, at the time we were in love. Doing things for your significant other should not be a chore. If they are and you still do them , the yes, somthing needs to be done. I find that usually things like rides to and from places should be seen as an opportunity to see the person and not to be thought of as "fuck, im a taxi".
I dunno. the whole "love" thing can totally change perspectives. The trick is to be giving to the point that YOU want to, but to not let the expectations that your generocity may create make you a tool. |

I go off the 'give what you get' method.
I dont mind going out of my way to do something for a girlfriend or anything. But as long as it comes around. If I know she does things for me as well, its all good. Im done dealing with girls who expect eveything for nothing. |
