Girlfriends and their responsibilities

Both my roommates had to leave to pickup their girlfriends.
This is understandable however when one has her car here at the house (ok?) and the other is at the SeaTac airport in Seattle, it all seems a little like a stretch to me.

I made a comment to the last one who left, "im gunna get you one of them extendable leaches, you know the ones that let you run a little". I feel somewhat of a dick, but not really.
