if you work enough and make a higher wage why would you need these cheques? you understand that tax breaks only work if they help people that actually need them?

if this injustice hurts you so deeply, just quit your job and find a lower paying one. then you can get these cheques too.

Oooh 6%!!

that doesn't mean shit unless you're buying big ticket items like a new home or car.

you wont really notice it at the grocery store or pump.

It's really smart. A tax cut Canadians will barely notice until a few years from now the govt shuffles to desperately recoup the funds that they've lost.

I'd be way more in favor of a cut to the income tax. I'd rather the gov't recognize me for being a good, dilligent prol than being a consumer whore.

Seriously, if they actually increased GST I'd probably spend way less money on stupid shit.

I would rather have stephen harper give us a cent (it adds up) off , than have Martin and his culture of entitlement robbing us of millions on a regular basis. I'm going to get a 1% rebate on a recent large purchse...and it's going to be signifigant. Increased spending on the military? Bravo. I <3 sovereingty.

haha every government robs people of their money, the conservatives are better at deception, maybe.

did you forget Mulroney (you know the one who introduced the whole stupid gst thing) was also a conservative?

Anyways, I'll give you a year or maybe two tops before you eat your words.
