Perhaps. There has been a need for a unification of middle eastern nations for a long long time now, purely based on the fact that the single largest threat facing them where imperialist nations. The REGULAR WORKING CLASS/STUDENTS in Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Jordan, AND Iran need to stand together.

Well I say the report in disinformation to some extent, and fear mongering, you say Im bickering and being an alarmist.

I just don't like someone trying to condition me with fale pretenses, but hey, if that's an alarmist thing for you, RINGADINGLING motherfucker! ;)

Good question though, what can we do to stop it?

I think the answer is reasonably simple, the problem is how many people are distracted with urban living around here to actually put in the time to execute it. First off, there is a need to mobilize grass roots organizations and cover the news the mainstream won't cover. It's not enough just to mobilize so you can spout off about US imperialism, when we are not innocent ourselves with our foreign policy here in Canada.

Education is the key. That and self-sustainable communities. If more people put the effort into managing their own power sources, and having a community or themselves to rely on local produce, the demand would increase. With the increase in demand, future generations would find it alot more simple as the industry to self-sustainablitiy grows.

Ideally, enough people do this by the time before a noticable amount of urban warfare continues, and at that point as a community can be a strong lobby on effecting domestic and foreign policy, as it will be a voice of many communities with a common bond inter linked through out the land.

It's a change in life style, and it's pretty much the only hope we've got. People need more pioneering spirit, and these days with water engines and geodesic domes, it's easier than it's ever been.
