I thought *msconfig* stopped working after windows 98. I know for windows2000. I have to actually go to regedit and modify and delete the actual files there.

also check your recently added programs in control panel. sometimes you'll find things in there that were added without u even knowing about it.

programs that will pop up like ads and all that.

for my virus troubles i just rebuilt my computer.....but i guess thats the easy way out of it lol(well for me personally/and if its too hard to locate and destroy)
