I got it from a friend of mine who's store already has it. The Leaked one is PAL and for Xbox as far as i know.

The big question is, will the stores be prepared for all of the people waiting to buy at midnight?

In the past 100's of people would wait at each retail store on the midnight releases of hot items like Wii's and 360's. And they'd always only ship like 20 per store leaving 80 upset people hanging out to dry. But with software being so cheap to produce, and the fact that there'll be strong retail sales for the next month, will there be enough copies at Future Shop tonight for me to get one too?!

I called up EB to see if they had any trade in offers for GTA IV, 3 - $8.00 trade up games, for GTA.
Packed up Rsix, Dark Sector and Gaiden, went to EB. HUGE ass lineup. Like, i've never seen the store packed with people.
The game isnt even out yet, i guess last minute pre-orders.. like myself.

So, couldnt make it in to do the trade. Looks like im waiting a few weeks.

they will have just over 500 copies at the langley location. open from 12-2 Im going to show up around 1.

a good question but one I didn't ask. He did tell me that all their pre orders were sold out. I asked him does it make sense to pre order online right now and pick it up tonight and he said no there will be a ton of copies.

keep in mind that this is a store sponsored release where they're encouraging people to lineup at midnight. boxing day, wii release, etc were mostly first come first serve which meant if you lined up first you might walk away with the product.

I won't lineup but I will drop by at around 1 to see if its still available.

i'll have mine at midnight, bunch of us are gonna go a little earlier and smoke blunts and drink beer while we wait. original plan was get it tomorrow but a bunch of my friends will be down there so it wont be so bad

You can call the HMV on robson st and still get your pre-order in. They have 30 copies reserved for pre-order right now and they have 120 copies in store.

The party will be at the Best Buy on Kingsway and the Future Shop on Broadway and Pine. Apparently there will be GTA4 helicopters...

I saw about 4 copies of endless ocean sitting in Best Buy a week or two ago.

Picked up a copy for myself. It's pretty neat.

I went to best buy, walked over the fucking bridge,
futureshop, eb, I even went as far as the video game place in slurrey to try and grab a copy of the game.

I went when people said it was there, it wasnt there. you didnt offer to order it online, i would've paid you more than what it was worth.

None the less, my brief stint with the wii showed me that I really didnt like it.
had 7 games and was only playing wii golf.
