Brazil (1985)
Written & Directed by Terry Gilliam (of Monty Python Fame) This, like nearly every single piece of British Science Fiction I've seen from the 1970-80s, was really a brilliant bit of a story which is, unfortunatly, over shadowed by the fact it's just plain fucking WEIRD. Points for excellent writting (think Sci-Fi but every 10min or so something Monty Python-esque happens) 7/10 |

Grizzly Man, excellent documentary. Explores why someone tried to live with the grizzly bears of Alaska.

Fantastic Four - good special effects and storyline isn't bad. A bit off the orignal but good for the upcoming sequel.
8/10 Boiler Room - An older flick but I just love the storyline. If you haven't watched it you should. It's all about money, how bad do you want to make money and just enough conscience to make you think about making more money. :c-tard: Ben Afflek's character gives the best speeches. 10/10 |

Memoirs of a Geisha 10/10 I loved the storyline, plus I am a complete history buff so this movie satisfied my needs for pre war Japan.
King Kong 9/10 I really liked it, although when I got out of the theatre my legs weren't liking that I just sat through a three hour movie, but it was like Jurassic park mixed into one. Good action, good effects and in general I think it was worth seeing. Narnia 10/10 For those who read the books, awesome movie, and for those who love fantasy and all that comes with it, go see it, it was great! Stayed true to the book and I am sure it will make a great series! |
