Have you got any funny/horrific DJing stories?

I was deejaying with Serato, and my computer crashed. Luckily though, I found a stash of CD's hidden away in the deejay booth, and had to make due with what they had there.

My other horrific story is I tried to hire people to promote & set up a night for me, and none of them were serious or professional, and I ended up having to do everything myself. On top of that, the first night went okay, with only about 20 people, and then the next week, only 2 people showed up, so I deejayed for 2 people...LOL. & since I was a newbie, I did not understand the details of negotiations so I did not even make any money at all from the club. The positive though was the bartender was a nice guy and gave me tons of beer. Nothing heals horror like good old brazilian beer...LOL

also every night i deejay, people keep asking for more music, even when the bar or club closes, which is funny & horrific...LOL

What do you like the most about DJing?

I would say the best thing about deejaying is all the requests I get and watching people get fucked up and dancing their asses off. I love how your job is to make everyone have a good time. I also love music, so it is nice to choose a playlist.

What does your DJ name signify?

I used to work with these girls, and they would call me Changster & then giggle & laugh at me. From then on everyone kept calling me that, so it stuck as a nickname.

Who are your influences /or shoutouts?

Bruce Lee - the man had to take so much hatred towards him, and he did not care, and kept doing his thing, and he worked really hard for it. On top of being someone who could easily beat people down, he was a great dancer.
Martin Luther King - his speeched & politics moved people, much the same as music.
2pac - he kind of reminds me of characters from tales of Chinese warriors, because he stood for righteousness, and stood for the oppressed, and was also a great poet.
ODB - he was my favourite wutang member

there is more, but I wont bore you with that stuff...LOL
