phatpants safety hazards

i <3 phatpants
but i will be the first to admit... they are a safety hazard.

One day, while at metrotown mall, i was going up the escalator in front of the old navy
as i reached the top, my khaki phatpants with a side swirl that i had JUST made the night before (which were absolutely massive...), got caught in the escalator!!!
it deposited me at the top of the escalator with the corner of my right cuff absolutely jammed
we had to press the emergency stop button while everyone else on the escalator filed past me mumbling things like 'way to go' and 'dumb ass'
hahaahahahah
it was so funny and embarrassing!!
my boyfriend at the time had to leave me to go find scissors because we couldnt pull it out
he finally came back with scissors and i had to cut myself out.

i still have those pants with a chunk missing on them...
lol

i use to wear them all the time, but shortly after that incident i started to incorporate safer, regular jeans into my wardrobe.

i know you have embarrasing stories too...

going UP stairs, if it was crowded the person behind would *always* step on my pants and i'd fall into the person in front of me

and then they become heavy as heck and when you sit cross legged.. your ass gets wet.

and they fray pretty badly

I was at metrotown yesterday and saw some guy wearing phatpants.

I couldn't see his feet, it was like he was hovering over the floor.

I rocked the phatpants. Mine were jeans though. 32" waist, 40" cuffs. I could glide all over the place in those things.

Oh common I'm sure Ryan was being serious.
I mean if he is the kind of person that would spend time finding the English lyrics to numa numa, then he must have at least one pair of potentially hazardous phat pants in his closet.
