Ladies - Comfortable Heels?

Do these even exist?

the lack of them is making me re-think my decision to start wearing more heels and less flats.

please let me know where you find them, or what you can do to make them more comfortable..

JOHN FLUEVOG SHOESSS!

They have rubber soles that are replaceable. Most shoes are made in leather and the best part is that they are made VERY well, so they will last you a long time.

They are pricey, but worth their cost, and you'll get some funky shoes out of it.

Found out this new trick at work in rubbing Cavilon skin prep around the areas that are prone to blistering, and VOILA!

And yes, there are comfortable heels for all women :)

Insoles! I prefer a kitten heel for comfort. Also, I find rounded toe/almond toe shoes tend to be more comfortable than pointed toe shoes. For work, I live in heels - if I have a ride to work, I'll wear 4" heels. We should go shoe shopping!

God I know. Worst catch 22 evar!!!!
I've even tried Hush Puppies wedges (2.5"), but even they kill my shins after 10 minutes of walking. Hard to think it's not some kind of evil conspiracy - surely there must be a way to make comfortable shoes that give you height, non?!!??

I don't have really wide feet by any definition of the term, but why is it that every pair of aldo shoes is made SO fucking narrow? Is it possible for them to make comfortable heels?

^ I suggest the Dr Scholls, such as Avana suggested. I own about 20 pairs of Aldo heels. All with their own gellin' insert and I have no problem wearing them for hours at a time.

You can get them for the balls of your feet and the heels, depending on where your feet tend to hurt the most (in my case sometimes its different places in different shoes). But as a shoaholic, thast the best suggestion I can give to you.

hahaha. me a few years back: "i guess i'll try the size 10, i don't know why i can't get these on".

so on the same page myra. now i don't have narrow feet but aldo is the worst for me too, i'm a 7.5 and i swear everytime i can only get the first half of my foot into their shoes!

^ I have never had a problem with Aldo personally. But that is not the first time I have heard of ppl not being happy with them.

I still own a pair of heels I wore to my grad 3 years ago. And they still look brand new. I dont understand the issue surrounding them. Mind you I have very narrow feet and I dont mind spending money on shoes im going to have for a very long time.

Most of my heels come with a three drink minimum but really "comfortable heels" has always struck me as an oxymoron.

Gel insoles reduce the pain, I haven't worn any shoes with rubber soles but I know that if you're shopping for heels at nine west and looking for comfortable shoes you should only purchase the Enzo Angiolini line because they're made with leather. The basic Nine West line is gauranteed to pretty much kill your feet (I know because I worked there and even their flats somehow managed to be painful after spending a day in them).

Oh and watch out for Steve Maddens! I own several pairs and i've come to the conclusion that unless I'm taking a cab and only standing for brief periods of time I can't wear them

yeah i don't have an issue with aldo........i always find cute shoes, but i don't have tiny feet.......thats my only gripe with them, the fact that i fit 1 out of every 10 pairs i try on there.

but thanks for the new ideas ladies.......time to shop ;)

Start with small heel (0.5-1.5 inch)... over the years (depending how often you wear them) you can build up.

Work on building your calf muscles, strong calfs help support your feet better.
