Do HEADLINERS Dj for full-time and get paid enough to have a good life?
i got this big question in my mind for a while and wanna c if anyone can hook me up with some info..
well.. i'm pretty sure those real top dj's earns more than enough $ for a living, such as tiesto and those big ass dj's.. but wanna know more further about this.. |

Yes... certainly most of the popular DJ's from overseas have residencies and this is across all genres IE: Krafty, Plumps, Stanton for Breaks, people like Olav, Antione for House and so on...
As Adam pointed out, depending on the DJ, they are each paid up front either in CDN, US, UK pounds or Euro's. That in combination with record royalities (if they produce) allows them to live a comfortable lifestyle I am sure. |

its actually not that hard. i'm doing it right now, i get paid to play video games and to spin. the combination of the two allows me to live off it. i may not be some superstar dj but i'm having a good time
you just have to know what you love at that point in your life. |

^^ No offense Adam, I am not slamming you, but the reality is that you still live at home with minimal expenses.
I think glow is speaking of - owning a house, car(s) and paying all the bills associated from living such a life (hydro, cable, etc...) off of only DJ'ing IE: like a Czech or Vinyl Ritchie would locally. |

Realistly most dj's cant make a living off of spinning alone. The ones that do are well off for 3-5 years and then they drop off the face of the earth.
Unless they start producing there own music which will extend there career a bit longer. AVB did. ^^^ DRoool!!!! With all those effects you could make the worst singer in the world sound like there g0d. `t1m |
