ive made it from victoria to the top of mt. washington in 2hours 50 min. (in a snowstorm..) haha. i loved my aunts car. had a limiter on the speed thou. capping out at 190. :p

Oh i love this post! *yay* Vancouver Island! the inland island highway is a gongshow in the winter. it took me 3 hours to get from courtney to nanimo in the snow, i was going like 60km/h on 4 wheel drive!! its almost faster to take the old highway because there isn't as much snow being next to the ocean and all.

man... snow out here is a joke! It snowed like twice when I was in Vic and was gone in a week. I learned how to drive in real snow.

and I've still yet to get pulled over... I have a feeling my days are numbered in that department

I know what you mean. That snowstorm was awful, I didn't think I'd ever get home. Usually I do 140/km so it's a quick 40 minute drive but it took at least two hours that night.
