Today at the hospital a patient's daughter (this woman must have been in her 40s) told me that she was taking the trip of a lifetime with her husband this summer. Biking from Turkey to China. It will take them three months to complete this journey.

I'm turning into a hopeless romantic. Over the last five or six months, i've witnessed some amazing examples of love. I've seen seventy year old men spend countless sleepless nights in the hospital with their dying wives. And they way they look at each other after fifty odd years of marriage... It's amazing and heart-wrenching at the same time.

I can't wait for grown up love.

You know what changes people? Life. Having kids is just one of those things in life that changes people. Does it change them for the better? That's all in the eye of the beholder.
