Funerals..
So tomorrow is my aunts funeral and it's gonna be weird. I remember my grandpa's funeral, everyone around me crying, me just sitting there looking normal.. I don't know, I feel like my family thinks I don't feel cause I don't cry, but I don't see death as a negative thing and in most cases I see it as a good relief of life.. whatever.. just gonna sit there and show my respect..

oh man conor i hope that went alright. both of my grandpas passed away 2 years ago and i had no emotion to it at all...and my parents found it really rude. i didn't know either of them too well..the only thing i knew about them was that they contributed to the birth of my parents. now that my friend's in the hospital ive been kinda teary and upset, and my parents kinda snob me out cuz i rather shed a tear for a friend than for a passed away grandpa. the rules in this house is messed up.. what to do..hmm

Don't worry about not showing any emotion at the funeral.
At my father's funeral I was quite stoic and the only time I welled up with emotion was when I gave a eulogy to him. If people are going to judge your love for a person based on whether or not you cry, they should get their head checked. |

^ agreed. From what I've seen, alot of males don't always cry at funerals. Hell, some PEAOPLE just don't cry. Humans express their emotions different ways.
I'm the complete opposite. When i went to my friends mothers funeral i was crying more than some of their family members. I also thought i'd be judged for that as well but the important thing is that you are there and you are supporting the people who need it. i think its great that you are more apt to celebrate life instead of mourning it.
