They want to kick me out of highschool!
Fuck, its finally come down to it. Years of skipping, has came down to the last three months of school and sure enough im failing all four of my EASY classes. I just don't care anymore. I BARLEY managed to get thought my last semester, like 50-54% in each of my four classes. Now all I had to do was pass all four classes, I could have done it, I SHOULD have done it, but I didn't. I kept skipping, basically fucked myself. Now three months in, and three months left there isnt a chance in hell I will pass them. Sitting at home here at 1:30 in the afternoon I get a call from my councilor saying I have the worst attendance in grade 12, and the administration wants to boot me out. FUCK THEM! I don't care anymore, if I don't grad with my grade do you really think im going to come back? Hell no. So I might as well just fuck it all.. I hate school, so much, I have just turned into another fucken lazy student. So what are my options? Go in tomorrow, plee to stay in school, work my ass off for three months and still fail one class? Hell no, that shit happened I would go ape shit. So fuck I give up on school. I guess I gave up in grade 10 when I failed four of my electives, and spent the last two years trying to makeup for that mistake. Not only school, it seems everything has backfired here in my life recently. Problems with my girlfriend seemed to start it all, then family problems at home, that worked into money problems with friends. I sware all I do now is work on my computer trying to make enough money to set everything straight. Skipping school to work at home. Sounds like a full time job to me. :(

Myles, I know it's tough but u can do it. Even if u don't pass this semester, u can go back next year in2 an alternate program 4 a semester and graduate from that. Good luck on whatever u choose.

dude. i've been there. and i know what it's like. suck it up for 3 months and pass!!!! don't be a dumbass. sorry, but that's the only thing u can do. or u could just dorp out and realize in 2-3 years that u should've sucked it up and finished when u should've

like FUUUUUUUUUUUCK, I don't care anymore. I can't sit thought a whole days worth of classes anymore. plus im getting ZERO in 3 of the 4 classes? there isnt any HOPE to grad this year. and there is no way I will ever go back

Let me be the first to tell you that you're a complete dumbass if you just give up.
Suck it up and be a man.... do what you need to. If you can't handle high school you're fucked in life. Life is way harder than high school coould ever be...trust. Bottom line is you're gonna do what you want to but in the long run you'll regret it if you don't graduate.

Seriously though councilors and administrator are the most retarded people in the world. They always do this, attempt to scare the shit out of kid only it backfires and the kid wants to quit. Don't let them win, go talk to your teachers, kiss there ass and get it over with. It's whats best for you. If you are truely not happy, then take these months off, by september i'm sure you will want to go back. Like i said alternate school's are the shit, maybe try that?

Nothing will be more embarassing later on then telling people you didn't graduate from high school - and nothing looks worse then that on a resume ( i know I handle them at my job)
It makes a difference, don't fool yourself into thinking it doesn't - You'll end up having to do it later unless you wanna work with mops your whole life and if you do well all the power to you. Jingles

i agree with everyone else...
high school was tough, but you've got to get through it. without a high school diploma, it's a lot harder to get anywhere compared to not having a university degree. my suggestion is to work your ass off for the next three months. it IS worth it in the long run. work some plan out with your school, as most school's (contrary to popular opinion) don't enjoy having students not graduate as it looks bad on the school. prove it to yourself that you are capable and you aren't just 'another lazy student'. once you prove it to yourself, everyone else will take notice and you'll go a lot farther in life. you won't ever regret finishing school... you will, however, regret not finishing.

arrange now to make them up during the summer/fall. seriously.
everyone i know who didn't finish regular highschool said it wasn't the biggest mistake they made, the biggest mistake was waiting 4-5 years to do it. just finish it while you have the ability to, or you will never have motivation to do it.

NO ONE CARES were all happy? :sixpak: I was finaly skipping for the first time ever and evryday i felt like making it my last and droping out. Even the smartest of all smart kids hated school and wanted to drop out. :finger: Face it your normal with that attidude, however try to grow up, deal with it and get it over with! :punch: 2 years later im finaly intrested in secondary school. May have had a great year living in an other country on my own... but fuck i am so done with shit jobs!:sick: Graduatoin is all you realy need, unless looking here at cap college, all they require is experience OR highschool graduation. I seriously know where you're coming from, i'm totally in the same boat but honestly you only have 3 months left so suck it up, stop skipping, stop blazing everyday and work your ass off...because you know what?? highschool SUCKS,i know it and you know it. SO why bother being an idiot at the END of it all??? sure failing in grade 10 is alright but i've always wondered about people who drop out at the end of grade 12 what the fuck is the point??? you've gone to school for about 12 years so why risk having to come back to do another year????? trust me there is a chance you can pass, i've worked from 20 percent to 60 percent... where there's a will there's a way. Myles we all know your a smart kid and you're definetly smart enough to graduate you're just being LAZY,there's no other excuse for it.

^^yeah i never skipped either! not even on grad skip day (i had two tests that day, and if we missed them, no make up test) or when we had a bomb threat and a whole 50 students showed up to school
but just go to school and pass once you do then it's over! yeesh.

your at the EXACT point i'm at, only i'm a year older and i'm taking that extra year now
and STILL it all comes down to these last 3 classes i'm taking smoking pot has nothing to do with it, if you aren't doing h/w because your smoking pot then you've got other issues to look at. like someone else said, suck it up, and go. becauseeeeee you know that feeling you have like how you don't car and don't wanna go etc. it gets 3 times worse the extra year Last edited by Sh4n3; Mar 27, 03 at 06:26 PM.
