i eat 5htp..cuz usually my depression is a result of the way i abuse my body....when the root of my depression is something other the the after effects of drugs i usually deal with it by dancing or involving myself in some sort of other physical activity. wokring out helps alot because the endorphins that it releases make you feel so good...i also find that talking about my problems with a friend i trust is also a very theurputic way of dealing with the negative thoughts that are usually the cause of the depression.
i know what you're feeling tho sometimes i just have times were i feel like stabbing myself in the head
