so long winter.

well another year of dismal skies and icey streets is slowly washing down into the storm drains. peace out. spring is blossoming. the sun is starting to work a little overtime to feed her children and help them grow to be stomped on by us children who also gain nourishment from the scorching beast in the sky. love is drifting around in the air with the fresh scent of pollen lingering beneath our senses. cheezy bubbly pop tunes flood the radio faster than cotton and cherry blossoms hit the sidewalks. we await the return of those who have sought refuge in the south, for there are far too little fat kids with ice cream in their hands and bird shit on their heads. sunrise, sunrise... ah yes, good times ahead of us.

sleep well, winter, we'll see ya in a year...

life fighting the yearly halt, slowly gaining control...oh dear sun, shine your swords of heat upon my prize spinach, i cannot bear the loss of another one of my basil plants...you tease us with your heat during the day, but at night you retreat! ...lol yea right, anyways.......

i want this spring to get on a role, cause really i just wasted money on plants that aren't ready for these random days of frost, eff you
