i notice that when i feel like shit and i go to the gym, i press more weight then i usually do, which gives you a good feeling. also, since i go to canada games, there is a tob-tub too :) another thing that helps is spending time with friends, which i usually do at the gym anyways.
if you dont work out, alcohol is your friend, everytime i drink hard, i go on a little adventure, fun times :) |

Dealing with it. Solving the probelms that depressed me in the first place and accepting things that are out of my control.
Dubes, Dancing, Munching, Music, Shopping, Getting my hair/nails done, and Watching the simpsons or family guy will make me feel a lil better too. And spending time with my gurleez! they have this crazy way of making me smile on even the shitiest of shitty days. |

i draw... run sometimes... clean the house, fnk.... burn cds, re arrange my room, msn...i donno theres always stuff to do
if not take a hot shower... i usually do some strenious activity to tire me out to the point were i sleep off my depression |

I do one of 2 things. I throw on the beats and just start to dance... work all of my frustration and negative emotions out through the music and movement. It works wonders for me.
Or, like several other people on the board, I channel all the negative emotional crap into being creative. I sit down and start to write. I tend to write some of my best poems & plays in that state. |

do something that will make you feel better.. like working out or talking to people .. talking to someone that is close to you and someone who understands and comforts you always helps shit i can get thru this : grandma had a stroke and pratically went blind .. dying uncle diagnosed with lukemia .. hes gonna die soon my dad and mom have extremely stressfull jobs .. creates a nightmare environment at home just get away from it .. do something you enjoy and let it take you away |

I write. Some of my best work comes from a low mood.
Usually, its me listening to coldpay or something whine-ful, and writing in my journal. Or writing a poem. But i have been so sad and depressed that it made me want to do notihng. Spending time under my blankets was the best pastime in that situation. Moods are fuel for creativity though. They take my words to great places. |

-Write; alot of my best, most emotional creations come when I am feeling upset, passionate or angry. The poetry I wrote in school during my battle with Depression got me sent to the counsellors office numerous times, I'll admit they could often come off as disturbing; but I undoubtedly put them among the poems I am most proud of.
-Sketch/Paint ( design, etc ideas and sketches. Drawing purdy ladies) -Sing; unless its to a sad song, singing always makes me settle down and forget about whats wrong for a while. -dance/ work out. Booty shakin is great and I always feel great after a good work out (yes that includes the horizontal mambo, even if it is solo!) -treat myself to yummy food (most likely sushi or chocolate) And of course talking to someone who cares is great, I've always been kind of independant about dealing with shitty moods. Most of the time I'd like to be alone or GETTING CUDDLES (those always help too!), otherswill want to be surrounded by people. And of course...last but not least.... smoking a fatty never hurts. I usually write... being depressed always turns out my best pieces...
