What Do You Guy's Do When Depressed and Not Feeling So Great?
So I am just having one of those crappy days. Found out my grandpa is sick again. With heart problems and they did a bunch of tests and will find out the results Friday. Having more trouble sleeping, bad memories keeping me up. And fighting with one of my best friends. Not liking my job. All of this just today so I feel really crappy and upset and depressed. So usually what I do is call one of my best friends and talk with them. And they help me threw it. But they were all busey today or hung over. So I was kinda of on my own.
So I ate alot of junk food, lyed in bed, watched T.V. Then turn off the TV and lye there thinking about stuff. So was not very productive and did'nt make me feel any better. Then had to come to work which made it worse. I would prefer to do something more productive when I am upset. Was just wondering when you guy's get like this what do you do to make yourselves feel better? Do you talk with friends/family? Drink/Drugs? Was just curious. |

So ya smoke a phat bowl then fry up a pound of bacon, drain it, put it on a plate covering the entire plate's surface. Then you shred mozarella and cheddar cheese over it and put it in the microwave for 45 seconds to melt the cheese. You then sit down in your favourite chair and watch some old-school cartoons (transformers, GIJoe, Gargoyles, etc) and stuff yourself like a fool!
That's how I've spent many Tuesday afternoons...... |

i lock myself in my room and listen to something like fiona apple and just draw in my sketchbook...or i sketch out new ideas for photos and stuff.
i come up with the most creative ideas when i'm depressed. so, as fucked up as it sounds, i kind of like getting depressed from time to time. -s. |

A night of drinking lots of beer and shittalking with my best friend works well...
Lately, especially because work has been stressing me out so much I've been going on long jogs after I get home, that works wonder. When the weather gets nicer, I play tennis. Like sammy said, being depressed or angry makes you a lot more creative, so a creative outlet can work wonders in this situation. If I am not too lazy to get all my stuff out, I paint. Animals can work wonders too. I volunteer walking dogs at the animal shelter, and spending half an hour or an hour playing with a dog just makes me so happy. You can even offer to take your friends dogs out, cos you're doing them a favor too. |

I do one of three things...
1) I go and workout to get rid of excess energy. 2) I go to sleep. 3) I walk downtown on East Hastings and look at some of the people who live on the street there...All of a sudden, my problems don't seem so big. P.S: Sorry to hear about your grandpa. |

Those four DVDs still just prolong the enivetable. I should know. I own those four DVDs as well and, ever since I loaned them out, I've been so depressed about not being able to watch them whenever I want. And the chopped up versions on Teletoon ain't cuttin' it!!!112!@! :enrage: |
