..ugh.. I need a job.. bad..
I don't know of really anywhere to apply tho, considering everything in maple ridge is taken...
I am willing to work in coquitlam but where?ugh.. Can, any one help out, here???
But I seriously do not wanna work at a fast food place... but if it comes down to it.. I just may....

it's very hard not to start out in a food oriented job cuz other jobs which are "better" want experience, unless u have an awesome interview and totally make a good impression on the employer.

you don't have to stick around for a long time, maybe 6 months, then u can go out and start applying places again, and you'll probably get more call backs the second time around..... :)

i've applied everywhere downtown...and i mean everywhere...had a few interviews...they never called me back...even tho i took the initiative to call them back...they still didn't return my damn calls...so now i'm looking at any places anywhere around van....i have tons of experience..anyone know of places and where?

wow very strange....EVERYWHERE is hiring in richmond. even lil 15 year olds are getting hired at gap and bodyshop. it's holiday season and everywhere is in MAJOR need of part time ppl~

yup my 15 yr old friend got a job at the gap! she's a GREETER!!! HAHAHA!

but yeah my sis just got a job at mcdonalds and she applied EVERYWHERE before! (she's 15 also)

hahaha andrew! i specifically didn't say off the wall! tons of ppl just got hired for gap... both of my friends work there now. and body shop did a major hiring too. damn about 80% of the ppl at my school works at RC! dayme...

my work is looking for someone to do some packaging, part-time for the holidays... but then BOB would be bossing you around, and ahahaha... that would be hilarious... actually i think i'm gonna give the job to someone else i already told i'd try to get him a job... it's in langley anyways... *yuck*

future shop isn't the best place to be looking for work if you're looking for something long-term... BEST BUYS bought future shop out in august, they already started laying off people in their shipping warehouses, and i was told by some VP mofo from best buys (when i worked in that warehouse) that there will be a lot more layoffs to come, including in the retail stores... but that won't be for a while, so if you're just looking for a job to get some cash, future shop is worth a shot...

try a gas station! gas station jobs are the best!

If your looking for a job, and you have your drivers license with a fairly good drivers abstact...
go apply at Lordco Parts.
I worked there for 2 years and it was fun.
It doesnt pay the best..but they
have the BEST medical plan there is out there.
100 % medical and extended dental, you dont have to pay
up front for Perscriptions, which KICKS ASS! :119:

All you do is drive around...and slack... :Kam: hehehe

Well i live all the way oin maple ridge and goto school.. uh.. I could probably work during the break.. But I'm not sure about the last 2 weeks of school cause I would have to bus..

driving jobs suck. i worked at white and peters for one month and it was the worst job ever. i did not enjoy getting paid minimum wage to drive around all day, putting my life at risk. there are so many stupid crazy drivers on the road. being one the road for 8 hours a day put you at high risk for having an accident.

about 3 months ago i quit my job on tuesday and had a job by friday. i continued applying everywhere, and almost every place i applied at got back to me wanting to set up interviews. at one point i had three different full-time positions.

finding a job is easy. it is to bad you are having a hard time.

HEy yah i DO agree with you. But comparing White and Peters to Lordco is TOTALLY DIFFERENT. the reason why I know that is cuz I quit lordco for about 2 weeks, to go to Performace Radiator in langley..and i thought it was gonna kick ass..but fuck..IT TOTALY SUCKED, and i begged my boss and lordco to let me come back. Cuz i just quit without notice. But there so nice ther and loved me, that he took me back. So....the pay sucks..thats forsure., but working at Lordco was one of the funnest jobs ive had.
