Mommy for a Week.

I'm baby sitting my sister for a week.
I've taken care of her for a day, and even for a night, but never for more then 2 days.

her parents are going to mexico... she's only 13 months. and shes really fussy about who she likes.... luckily she really likes me, next to her parents shes most comfortable with me...
i've never had her flip out on me... but i'm afraid she'll start to miss her mom



Shes doesnt walk or crawl yet. she's very develpomentaly slow in that way (she was a premie) but shes really really smart... I'm a little bit freaked that she's gonna spaz.

kids can be nice... and they can be evil.. it's all in the flick of the coin.. lets hope the kid is nice too you.. im sure you will have some differences to work out before your time is over

shes really not into TV.... although if you put on something bright and colorfull like tellietubbies.. she's intrested


She's rather listen to music.. that kids has awesome taste... if you put on anything annoyingly pop, she'll just sit there... but if you out on anything Bluey, or Jazz she'll rock back and forth in perfect time with the beat.. and if she gets of count, she stops.. and starts again.


She flips with excitment if you put on bob marly... she's a total music nut.


I'm sure she'll be fine. were gonna go out and hang at the beach, and go to the veggy food fest, and her and I and my friend are going to go to the Vegan diner

She really likes Tofu... i'm looking forawrd to it... My best friend is comming to stay for a few days, and my friends little sister is gonna come and help out for a few days.

kids are stressful but so rewarding at the same time.
yesterday i was throwing a party fro all the kids i coach - it was crazy. then this little girl mackenzie comes up to me in the middle of it all, with arms open and shes sobbing and tells me shes sleepy. so i picked her up and held her tell she fell asleep. this little tiny 5 year old made all my troubles go away for about 20 minutes.

but for a baby? i got no experience there, best of luck, and im sure that it will be rewarding. remember to sleep when she sleeps, even if its at 1 pm, catch all the zzz's you can.

well atleast she's not a toddler yet, the fact she cant crawl or walk is a good thing she'll probably get into less trouble..

I know, I've always wanted children. and i've looked after kids from newborn to pree teens.

she sleeps more then any kid ive ever met, so thats good... kids are awesome... I'm going over tomorrow, i'll have to keep everyone updated
