I'm not clinging to my plans..
I just want to know what I'm doing with my life now, before I get old and tell myself 'oh I should have done [something] when I was younger cause I had the oppertunity" I'm paying off my visa hardcore lately, and I'm seeing a difference in the balance, which feels really nice, but I don't have any cash because of it. oh well. I just want to start BCIT already. |

Destined for Greatness,
but Pacing Myself finding something that will be worth while later can be good too. like working out, reading or learning something, take all the overtime possible. weed does help :) or realize what you wont have time for when you get things on the move, and visit friends in other towns, geek out on what ever hobbies your into, or play video games. these are all ideas that really just pertain to me, but mabey you can get some ideas from it? |

I've been trying to keep busy in between working all week.
I try to work out on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with my bf and his friends but sometimes they go really late after work and I have to be up in the morning. So right now it seems like once/twice a week. I'm also going tanning to get a base tan, so that when the sun comes back out that I won't be pale. I don't like to do drugs to pass the time, and weed just makes me sleepy and hungry. I'll just pass on that. I do go out and party every other weekend. Which is definately needed. My brother is flying in from Toronto in the beginning of July and at the end of the month I'm heading to Chicago to visit my mom, can't wait, I've never been. I do a lot of loungin' on the couch in my pj's! |

I'll finally be done school and have my BSN one the first week of August. It's been a really long road.
Having things planned out can burn you out really quickly. I just turned 22 and don't go out anymore, barely have any friends, and cry at the drop of a hat because my nerves are so fucking fried. So it's ok to pace yourself a bit. Have a plan, but know that it's ok to go at your own pace once in a while. Hope that helps. |

When I finish paying off my car (another 2 yrs prolly), that will be a huge weight of my shoulders. So I'd like that to come and go really quickly. But other than that, I don't mind time going slow...
I used to have a 5 year plan, but honestly you never know what will happen. I don't even want half the things I used to want. It's good to have goals and direction, but don't wish away your youth either Carrie. B/c I work with lots of older adults I think I feel like I should have it even more together than I do. But I've been working really hard at taking time to relax, not making work my life and being ok with letting things develop on their own. These are all things I really hafta work at. Good luck with waiting! It's a hard thing to do... :) |
