I agree with you saying that its really not appropriate to discuss intimate matters.
However, I disagree with it being unrefined.
There is a fine line between airing dirty laundry and simply having girl talk with friends.
Like I mentioned before, its perfectly normal for guys to sit around with their buddies and talk about the last girl they got with, no one bats an eyelash.
