Have to agree with Jake here..... you have to at least try to support people when they're trying to clean themselves up.

If you truly are being taken advantage of by said 'friend' you should move on and find better ones. Good friends will go through thick and thin for you.... thats the point of having friends! They're supposed to be a support basis!

But I really do think that it was partially fitting! Druggy moms (like her) really fuck up their family lives, and their friendship systems. This thread is a perfect example of what all those things could lead to. But I also understand that she's recovering and changing. And I do appreciate that props are due, since changing your lifestyle is one of the hardest things.

i have a son, and i dont have financial problems, i have extra money and am lookin for a ipod neways, i have sold a few assets to make me able to, it is about the money cuz she has lots of it and dosent have any bills like me, thats the upside to living with your parents, the point is, would you take money from a single mother, who dosent have ne parents to save her ass if the situation arises????, cuz she seems to think that its ok

There's a confining difference. You shouldn't assume that just because you're a single mother and pay bills, you deserve to be given free money (charity?) out of pitty.

If you're just talking about the money she's ripping you off with, then get your bank statement and tell her that if she doesn't step up, you'll take legal actions.

as for the friendship, fuck it! why would you want a friend who'd rip you [a single mother] off?

i dont assume that i deserve to be given free money i just assume that i deserve enuf respect to not have money taken outa my pocket..and i have no problem paying her back her money..ill give it to her gladley..but a deeper look into the situation...and it turns out she owes me money...over a hun actually...my cousin is lending me money to pay of a debt that we both owe someone and i am paying him back so she owes me half of that....and now it makes what she almost did, (had i been a dense person not to clue into...) a really low thing...
