not everyone is that upfront on their feelings. it takes a certain amount of confidence to just walk up to a person and say "i like you, we should go out sometime!" especially to the people we are really attracted to.

at the same time, i agree that there is the possibility that this person may only be in it to get up in yer goodies. so the best thing for you to do is evaluate the individual’s character and values towards women. if he's a one- nighter, chances are he's only in it for sex. but if he has more respect for women than that, maybe he really does like you and cannot express it properly.

and some girls are only interested in other girls when they're not sober...

in any case, if you only get affection from someone (guy or girl) when they're drunk, i'd say you're better off without them.
