I don't really think it's a recent trend. Hell, even if you ask some of your parents, when they were in their twenties, in college it was a time to 'experiment', this is what young people do, they try things- dabble in drugs, bisexuality, orgies, travel to exotic places, exist in strange relationships. I don't think that because someone is trying something it makes their interest any less legitimate. A lot of people think it and try it when they're young and it doesn't necessarily carry on to adulthood.
for attention or not, i don't know many people that would kiss someone they weren't attacted to. |

you don't want girls who kiss other girls for attention to be called bisexual? but really you don't know what is going on inside their head. are they kissing for only attention, do they feel some real attraction, are they lesbian and too afraid to admit it, are they just horny and drunk? if a guy is attracted to two girls kissing and you think that's lame...then it's no loss. you didn't want that guy anyway, right? why do you think all these terms exist: gay, bisexual, open-minded, unsure, queer, lesbian, dyke, homo, butchfem, transgendered, transvestite, transexual... could it be because sexuality is so fucking weird and strange that it defies labelling? personally i dont see any thing wrong with people in college experimenting and labelling themselves bi, but on places like myspace (which this topic started with) the majority of them are young... 12, 13, 14... and that i think is one of the problems - are they even old enough at that age to know what they are? |

having anyone select their sexuality from a predetermined list of 3 or 4 choices seems very limiting...and confusing especially when you're just become sexually active. |

i think this thread is too trendy.
Just cause someone has bi-sexual on their profile in some msg board doesnt actually mean they are. Attention whores. I cant really give an honest answer, im 100% straight and not involved in that community/culture. I dont think anyone who is not bi-sexual/gay can answer that question. |

I think barstars overwhelming display of intellect pretty much sums up the ridiculousness of the questions asked. Let people be who they are and have a chance to find out who they are without all the questioning and second guessing.
and by the way why are so many of you looking at pre teen profiles on the internet lol Last edited by brittni; Jan 14, 06 at 12:14 AM. |

i think being bi and being bi curious is a whole different story. Ever have a girl bad mouth you to your girl and then try to hit on her? What it comes down to is all girls just want their vag's eaten and girls have less stubble.
