Bi-sexuality, is it too trendy?
I will admit, I am addicted to Myspace. And while surfing Myspace, I have noticed several accounts with pictures of people kissing(damn near swallowing them whole) other people of the same sex.
It seems that mostly girls, are broadcasting that they are bi-sexual at a younger and younger age. I can't help but think that this is nothing more than a trend to get attention or an excuse to be a hussy. I have only met one person who claimed to be Bi-sexual that had had a relationship with the same sex, as opposed to just sex. Are you bi-sexual if you just have sex with the same sex? Do you need to have a relationship with the same sex to be truely bi-sexual? |

I think to be considered "bi" you are attracted to the same sex and the opposite sex equally.
Its not that complicated. But this is an issue I have always thought about. It seems like every bitch is "bi"..... And it used to bug me a bit but now I just have accepted that alot of people are fakers and are pretending....for various reasons....I dont really care its jus kinda funny |

Any girl under the age of 21 claiming to be 'bi-sexual' is really only a attention seeking tramp =/
It is possible to be attracted to both sexes, and even have meaningful relationships. I just dont think that theres alot of that out there..Girls.. fooling around with girls because you are drunk/curious/bored does NOT make you bi-sexual. |

I agree that it has definitely become a trend... I, personally, am not bisexual and I never have experimented unlike most girls these days im sure... but i have definitely noticed that a LOT are (or say they are)... it could be a good thing in the fact of raising awareness, but still I find it kind-of sad...

But do you think you could connect with a woman enough on a certain level to have that relationship? You may not have had that experience yet.....
When I first started raving years ago, I was curious about girls, naturally. The rave scene I think brought that out in me. But when I investigated that curiousity, I realised that it was nothing more than that. So are these girls just being secret sluts? |

i doubt that anyone who is actually bisexual is going to be the type of person to broadcast it to everyone. i assume most people think its hip, and like chewy said, young girls do it cus they know guys think its hot to see too attractive women kissing.

How many men whom are interested in male and female relationships run around kissing boys and telling the world they are Bi? Not so much. It is very possible to be equally attracted physically and emotionally to both sexes. I think that bi-sexuality is a lifestyle or life choice. Not a weekend hobby. I have numerous homosexual, gay and bi-sexual friends who are who they are without drugs/alcohol...and im really done with seeing random hoochies making out with other girls for attention. |

Age old topic...and I'm not suprised to see some of the same type of responses in it.
Getting drunk and making out with your girlfriends does not mean that they're bi...but there are a lot of girls who say they are because they will do that. And I know girls who have done this just to get attention from the boys. I HAD to look up a dictionary term... 1. Noun and adjective for a person romantically attracted to and sexually active with both men and women; sexually oriented toward both sexes; someone whose sexual-orientation is both hetero- and homosexual . DUH. but still...I think the key phrase here is "romantically attracted". |
