I fully believe in speaking to my manager. You have a human rights, and labour relations case, plain and simple. And if your manager is unwilling, or unable to protect you, then they aren't doing their job. This is a major part of their job. To "manage" their employees.

Even if you haven't seen your manager more than once, it doesn't matter, they are still your manager. I am sure that Blockbuster as a company would not want to see their name in the paper for not protecting their employee.

The right thing is to speak to your management, if the employees persist and continue the bs, then those are grounds for dismissal. And you turning around and dishing it right back is not the proper solution, cause if they are half as nasty as they seem, they are going to use that against you.

You have the right to work in a fair, equitable and safe workplace.

All I was stating was I hope you don't pass on your horrible attitude towards people on to your kid, that's all. You don't have to say shit like that on a public forum, I can tell your just trying to make yourself look leet or whatever, and I also can tell you don't give a shit about other people, I'm just hoping you don't pass those traits onto your child.

okay so i guess no one is allowed to talk about thier life on the inter net or even in real life because it gives people the opportunity to make "pot shots" so easily.

The thing you need to understand is this:

no matter how much of a cunt someone can be,it gives no one any right to bring someones family into thier attacks.Whenever I exchange words with someone...i dont bring thier family into it.I keep my comments directed at THAT PERSON,not thier sister,brother,aunt,uncle,dead cat,mom,dad,unborn child etc etc etc.

No offense to you when I say this (as you work there as well) but the reason they are acting this way is because they are losers that work at a dead end job. Let me clarify, they are going no where in life. This makes them bitter and if they can make you feel small and hurt by making fun of you it makes their day just a bit less horrible. Have you seen office space? If not watch it and you will understand that they have the worst day of their life every day.

My advice is to ignore them and know that you are better than them. Seriously don't talk to them, keep to your self and get that pay cheque. Honestly you have nothing to talk to them about anyway. They're not your friends and hopefully never will be which basically limits you to small talk which you can carry on throughout the day with customers.
