"Intuition" ?
Anyone else have stories about intuition to share?
I remember the first time my intuition kicked in I was 7 years old, early Saturday morning, sitting on my parents old floral print couch, in my blue, button up pajamas with care bears on them, I was watching ghost busters the cartoon. My mom came to the doorway of the living room and said “Good morning Kimmy.” I kind of froze, and I just knew. Its hard to explain, it kind of flashed through my mind, took no more than a second, and my eyes were filled with tears. Before she could say another word I looked up at her and said “Warren died didn’t he?” He was one of my dearest friends, he was only in grade two when he passed away during the night from some kind of massive heart failure. From that morning on, I have had countless “run ins” with my intuition in all kinds of situations and have learned never to ignore it. Well, that familiar little alarm sounded somewhere in the back of my mind several days ago, annoyed I tried to push it away. But as the feelings of “something’s not right” got stronger, I was finally forced to stop and pay attention. Now there is very little doubt in my mind as to what has caused it, I would almost guarantee it. We will see! Last edited by mystique; Aug 07, 06 at 11:45 AM.

Yeah, to me a woman's intuition is that weird psychic connection women have when they know there's something wrong with their kids.
I've had my mom call me out of the blue at some of the weirdest yet most useful moments. I half attribute it to intuition and half to general synchronicity... That and I think moms more than anybody get paranoid about their kids and as such are always calling to check up on them, and there's probably about a billion misses for every time she calls me at the right time. But at least it's nice to know she loves me.

There's definately something more going on in our universe that most arn't aware of all of the time but once in a while can experience.
I remember when someone close to me died a few years back and I was walking down the street and all of a sudden I stoped with this horrible feeling in my stomach that something had happend...later that day I found out she died and I asked what time it had happend and she passed away the same time I was walking down the street from school and got that feeling.... I'll never forget that... crazy world.

First off I wouldn't call that a womans intuition, i would call that a form of esp, a intuition is more like a feeling, like when you meet someone you get a vibe kind of thing thats more of a womans intuition, seems like you have a small gift maybe you should embrace it :)

I get deja vu all the time and I HATE IT.
I don't usually get the bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I usually just have a gut feeling as to whether or not I should do something and when I follow it I almost always end up with the result I had hoped for. It's weird. The decision to take my new job was based purely on my gut feeling - gawd I hope I'm right :P

same here.... it really bothers me sometimes.. cause i dont know what to do.... the weirdest thing that happens to me.. is ill think of as person i havnt seen to or talked to in a while.. and i usally end up having them call me that day or running into them in the bnext couple of days... always creeps me out... i have some super connections with people where we will both be thinking of each other and one calls the other and were both like i was just thinking of u... happens everytime... like me and my aunt.

This isn't specific to women. I think each of us have the power of perception or the power to read energy better or worse than the other. -- Although these two things are definitely heightened (or so it seems) when women become mothers!
I've always had this crazy sense of perception and the ability to read energy.

I've had weird deja-vu a couple times.
The weird one once was I was chatting with one of my Friends and I just made up an Acronym on the spot and my Friend started laughing. I asked him why she was laughing as I hadn't explained it yet... but she recited exactly what I was going to say. Weird.

I experience intuition when I'm playing poker.
Sometimes I know (JUST KNOW) that buddy has that ace, and in those times i'm nearly always right. I don't know if intuition is spiritual or just a subconcious read on people, but i'm sure it does exist.
