i myselp have been single for over going on 4 years i think? i have dated ppl in between but never works out to be the person id like to be official with. i say its just not ment to be others say i have commitment problems. i say when the times right.

I kind of have a theory that nobody is afraid of commitment with the right person.

If you're feeling that cold feet, it's your subconscious telling you that it's not quite the right person for you.

I went out on a couple of dates with this dude and he was dying to be my boyfriend and I felt so bad about not wanting to commit I blamed it on the "fear" and told him I wasn't ready for another relationship. The "fear" was actually "you are SO FAR AWAY from being the person I would commit to."

I have been happily single for the better part of this year and just as easily became happily attached recently. And I didn't think twice about it. You know?

I love being single.

That being said, I have just never been truly happy with anyone I have ever dated. So that may be a reason. If I found a good one, I'd keep him.
