Seattle Outbreak Entertainment Presents.
Grand Theft Audio The Underground VS The Undercover themed party. This is a spinnoff of the classic Cops & Robbers theme. Attention all Feds (or any other nefarious shady earphone penny loafer sunglass wearing Clint Eastwood to live and die in LA type) there is an Mass Audio Hijacking in progress, please respond! click for larger image Mechwarrior - DSCI4/Barcode/DNBradio.com // VAN/AUS Since 1996, Rohan Bell Aka Mechwarrior has been carving his own niche in the drum and bass landscape. From his native Australia to Toronto, Seattle, Washington DC to name a few, no dance floor has been left untouched by this Aussies brand of rhythmic magic. An initial residency with Sydney techno collective Junglepunks provided the initial training ground for the Mechwarrior. Supporting them as drum and bass resident, he blew eardrums alongside such acid techno luminaries as Chris and Julian Liberator and Dave the Drummer as well as technocrats Oliver Ho and the Advent. Playing throughout Australia, floors were terrorized along side Laidback, Konflict, Paul Arnold and the Usual Suspects while promoting his own efforts known as the Intellect series of events. 2002 was the year things changed as the Mechwarrior picked up and moved to Vancouver, Canada. If previous experience was anything to go by, the capital of western Canadian D&B was in for a wild ride and that's what they got with Bell integrating himself rather nicely into the local dnb landscape. Since then he's played alongside Klute, Suv, Dieselboy, Sage, Reid Speed, Ray Keith, T.C. Izlam and A-Sides. Vancouver was also where he met sonic partner in crime Jeff Malcolm, known dance floors worldwide as Psidream. Together the two have been producing a series of bassbin-rupturing tunes that are feeling the love from names as diverse as A-Sides, Stakka, Trace, Tech Itch and Skynet. Co-hosts of the infamous Overload Radio internet show, Malcolm and Bell have used that as a platform to take their music to the next level. Their first single Stitches/H-Division has been signed to Barcode, the harder Sub-label of Renegade Hardware. Trace has latched on as well with the Delusional/DeepFreeze single set for release on DSCI4 come the spring of 2004. Dark, demented and ready to nod your head and shake your hips, this is the soundtrack for all tomorrows parties and Mechwarrior is the man to bring it all home.... Most Wanted
