Under the Influence of Giants (sometimes abbreviated UTIOG) is a musical group from Los Angeles, California. The band is often compared to the Scissor Sisters. They released their major label debut album in August 2006, which was a number one hit on the Top Heatseekers chart. Among their influences are the Bee Gees, Prince, WHAM!, and Todd Rundgren. They have performed on Last Call with Carson Daly and Jimmy Kimmel Live.



And before any of you pretentious music snobs start with this thread, i don't listen to the radio and have no idea if these guys are getting any regular radio play at all. I found their myspace last week and decided that I liked them. Apologies if this is old news. I'll try to spend more time reading music blogs in the future. :P
