Bleeding Gums wasn't blind. As far as I know, Stevie Wonder doesn't play saxophone, although with a name like Wonder I guess it wouldn't surprise me. Their voices are completely different. Only one of them has terrible gingivitis (again, as far as I know).

I'm saying it's a crazy coincidence. Even if Bleeding Gums' appearance was originally modeled on Stevie Wonder, it doesn't explain away the floating-head-in-the-night-sky motif they used to promote the concert.

Btw, anyone replying should in all fairness know that they're taking this up with someone who's a big enough dork that he had to opt out of a game of Simpsons Jeopardy last weekend in order to level the playing field for the relatively normal competitors.
