i would have thought the word would instigate savage battery from a bunch of death/black/heavy Metal heads like yourselves...

im sorry, i dont mind bands like Story of the Year, or My Chemiscal Romance, but they just dont belong in a thread for Metal!!

Not saying you but in general I mean. Metalheads dis Emokids, Emokids dis Punks, Punks dis straight-edgers, straight-edgers dis everybody.... hahaha

Music is music, if it's good, listen to it, buy it, support it..... that's all there is to it!

If anyone is interested in any of the bands I listed in my previous post I pretty much have stuff I can give you from all of them. Other bands that I have been digging lately.....

For metal, I generally like most GODFLESH related stuff, including JESU & other really slow panoramic stuff like ISIS. The Melvins were ok, if i'm in the mood. Anybody remember Fudge Tunnel from the UK?

Japanese grind is ok, older stuff like FUCK ON THE BEACH. Or SWALLOWING SHIT from Winnipeg, from waaay back in the day. I like noize bands as well, or "metal" bands that do the noize thing. Some hardcore still hits the spot, i liked really chaotic stuff like THE SWARM, End of Century Party, or even the LOCUST can still make ya groove, huh?

If anyone hasn't checked it out, there's a local Canadian digital hardcore & breakcore label called DTRASH Records that does some pretty good grindcore / industrial noize / metal stuff too, imo. Check it out if you can, they're an mp3 label to boot. DIY, politics, visuals & lots of free music. Support local stuff.
