The deathmetal thread!!!
So ya this thread is for everyone that likes the hard shit.I would like to hear about everyones fav bands or songs at the momment or if there are bands others must check out that might not be super mainstream.
Ill keep this bitch bumped.. top 3 bands im currently listening too right now Agony Scene-fav songs right now-- scapegoat///eyes sewn shut devildriver--fav songs right now--- the mountain///grinfucked meshuggah-- fav songs--autonomy lost Im sure most have heard of devildriver but maybe not agony scene or meshuggah if you like the new school shit these bands are fucking wicked!!

A lot of the bands listed are hardly death metal/black metal. At best they are hardcore or straight up metal.
You want DEATH METAL listen to bands like Cryptopsy, Enthroned, Dying Fetus, Six Feet Under (w/ original lead singer of Cannibal Corpse)... I will admit that Cradle and Dimmu Borgir fall into the category. Mofo, for the most part black and death metal get lumped in together anyways. The black metal label tends to be given to the uber-goth bands out of Norway and the like. The more American metallers get the death metal label. When you get down to it all you really notice is that the death metal is more grindy while the black metal has serious goth influence like organs, chant etc...

guys like i said any hardcore bands doesnt have to be deathmetal, deathcore,underground,thrash,dark metal they are all welcome.

Um.. "metal". I'm biased, but ... never support geeky "oh so ambiguous" white supremacist "black metal" garbage, mired in mythology & stupid songs about nymphs... puhleaze. Black metal is only fun for the costumes. Fuck, look at these guys:  ^^ are they even kidding? Hilarious. D&D gone too far? I think so. Don't even get me started about all that hesher trash black metal from Florida in the early 90's. HAHAHAHA. What a bunch of scientists they were. *burp* For metal, I generally like most GODFLESH related stuff, including JESU & other really slow panoramic stuff like ISIS. The Melvins were ok, if i'm in the mood. Anybody remember Fudge Tunnel from the UK? Japanese grind is ok, older stuff like FUCK ON THE BEACH. Or SWALLOWING SHIT from Winnipeg, from waaay back in the day. I like noize bands as well, or "metal" bands that do the noize thing. Some hardcore still hits the spot, i liked really chaotic stuff like THE SWARM, End of Century Party, or even the LOCUST can still make ya groove, huh? If anyone hasn't checked it out, there's a local Canadian digital hardcore & breakcore label called DTRASH Records that does some pretty good grindcore / industrial noize / metal stuff too, imo. Check it out if you can, they're an mp3 label to boot. DIY, politics, visuals & lots of free music. Support local stuff. http://www.dtrashrecords.com/
