the maritime or dare i say it? riverside. both of which are essentially both highly and extremely unlikely to the point of being illegal given the sorrid state of bylaws, redtape etc....

I don't mind the drive (gotta remember to hit the bathroom 'fore I hit the road for sure). The Venue was pretty cool.

I didn't mind the cold all that much but I was pretty active.

Major complaint I had, was that the stages were too close together, all the stages music blended togethor. If they manage the space better, then it'll be an awesome venue for years to come.

Love the plaza, but as long as they have a cool venue to replace it, I'm happy. Doenst matter to me if its in Chilliwack or right next door to me, I'll make the trek. :c-tard:

It was a awesome party, but i think like a few other people they should have used the dirt spot by the bleachers for another stage. It was a tight party i loved it, plus im realy close to the wack!

There is another area the same size as the one rom which was surposed to be utalized but as eplained before it was voted against. Using the two rooms with concrete floors would be more than enough space for a rave twice the size of Plaza.

What most need to understand, is that all over North America, most parties are in big warehouse such as The Chiliwack Hall.

one of my fav parties was kick-it because that venue was pretty rad. it seemed like a scene right out of a movie. two thumbs up.

another party i had a great time at was juicy... although i'm glad we went in the back door because i probably wouldn't have had as much fun if i saw the sign on my way in the front.

having cool venues like that is great. different is fun.

the chilliwack fair grounds werent too bad...its not soo bad the stages were close together because at least u dont have to run across the whole building (in which case the wandering effect takes place) to get to the other stages. It would be sweetass if they could open up the dirt arena for a huge (IMF-like) stage..but with matting on the grounds preferred so we dont comeout of a rave looking like apex-ish. Freezing morning for sure, i think if there is a cold morning maybe hot chocolate for all the hardcore people who satay till the end should be provided..afterall, chilliwack IS in the boonies for say :tounge1:

in the spring and summer months though it would be pro. Not too hot not too cold. I don't care where it is. As long as the music is decent

I Really liked the setup for the main room that was quite impressive, but as for the rooms all being beside each other, maybe have 2 stages there and one main stage where the dirt is... But that being said... Is it really that healthy to be raving in a barn? :017:

My last two parties were Spooky 8 and KISS 2004. I defenitly had way more fun at KISS, it was the best party I ever been too and I love the Plaza its the best venue to throw massives. The Chilliwack venue is way to cold, dirty and smelly. I was freezing all night and I got a huge cold. I kept smelling animal shit well dancing, defenitly a shitty venue, it doesn't even deserve to be talked about, when we're deciding on a new venue to replace the Plaza.

I say the best thing to do is to have less massives, but when we do have a massive charge $75+ a ticket and let's party at the PNE Collisium. When we have smaller parties we can use Riverside and the ptkum reserve in chilliwack during the summer.

The Chilliwack venue is too far, too cold, too smelly and a shitty vibe. Who's idea was it to but the stages side by side, who was in charge of that, don't put him in charge again, stages need to be spread out so the music doesn't filter together. Or at least use curtains to stop the music from filtering together. It sucks dancing and listening to Trance and hearing Hard House in the background.

Maybe I'm coming down to hard on the Chilliwack venue, but I love the Plaza if it wasn't for the Plaza I would of never started raving, my first party ever was Simple 4 at the Plaza, it was one amazing party and that's when I fell in love with raves. I hate casinos, they are taking our home away from us, damn bastards. I dunno either add heat and seperate the stages or I'm not partying there. I rather pay more and go to the PNE Collisium or drive out to Seattle for a massive there. I heard Seattle has some sick massives there, so I'm gonna check one out.

I'll miss Plaza so much, but props on KISS and I can't wait till Insomia 'Marco V" baby and Twisted 2004 "Armin Van Buuren" I'm drowling already the #3 best dj in the world, sweet sweet sweet!!!

Peace

I liked it. Too cold, but that was good, kept from dehydrating. And the sound was no worse then godspeed's setup, the trance room just killed, it was one of the best shows ive ever been to. (Spooky that is) - I hope to see more events there.

:284: ya the venue was good... cold.. but good.. the only way I'de be able to make it there was as long as they would have shuttle buses to and from like at spooky... and not like the soo called shuttle to godspeed that never came. The greyhound to spooky was pretty awsesome.....
