Well wow havent been to plaza since WET and i must say i had a blast. The sound OMG fuckin blew ass so quiet it was pathetic. Anyways antoine was the bomb. He got me dancing all over the place. It was dead to but whocares more room for us to dance right? Well good friends were there. Gotta say

I would have to say that it was a great party... the amount of ppl was awsome... even thou it was a plaza party... it was packed.. which was good....
My night started out good... only started to go crazy when I was in the smoke pit and sumone I think od.... and was taken away on a stretcher... that was scary... and then going into the bc room.. talking to one of my friends and then comming back and seeing another person not breathing and getting taken away on a stretcher.... then having Peter freaking out... It was crazy... The visuals.... eeekkkk!!! That clown.. if any of u saw it.... freaky!! It made my night when a couple of my friends and I went "raver fishing" hehehhe giggles.... ummm yea Loved the music... not much of a trance person but I found some good songs I liked... breaks.... oh sweet breaks.... some ppl were just showing their skills... awsome.... and umm yea Loryn- thanks for being with me... although I lost u for part of the night.. hehehehe Neal- hehehe ur eyes.. lol hehehe omg... gotta see those pics and yea.... DJ ANTOINE!!!!!!!!
best house set i've seen in my life, period. exclamation point! man, i was up front the entire set and it was just sick. very nice selection of tunes he played, not the expected disco, but a weird funky, deep, yet super energetic style. very cool. also, wicked sets from christian, precise, cinto, and cookies n cream. those are my choices for the night. =) the actual party didnt seem that great, but antoine...oh man... hahaha, getting a copy of his cd made my night, oh yah, and seeing dave armstrong accidently making azim's record skip in the middle of a mix, hahaha, fun times, ahahhaa! met some new people that night, geoff, arubixcube (miranda), the "sideways acid crew", (um...definetly a weird bunch.) mad shouts to everyone, cause i saw pretty much everyone (of course with the notable absence of rhianna, karl, and anyone else from the north shore! wtf?) yah, i had a wicked time, tho working at 12 after like 2 hours sleep wasnt too fun! oliver |

my joints ache... i was bustin it all night... up until 7am when fuckin Tazix spun my fav song to finish his set (spoiled and zigo) hahaha omg was goin off so hard. MAD props to twisted. I know it wasn't a HUGE party (no lineup when i got there haha) but yea the party MAD kicked HELLA ASS. BIG BIG ups to Cosmic gate who probably thinks vancouver sux now since the party was super pinned out but its all good. hope everyone had hella fun cuz i know i did. PLUR

k, plz disregard me last post!! Drunkin posting is bad! I felt bad for the twisted crew on this one.. Felt bad for dj Antoine not having a completely packed room to rock! At the same time Big ups to the crew for throwing the party even though they knew they were gonna make a loss! There have been tonnes of promoters who have pulled out last sec cause of lack of sales but Azim pulled through with as much class as possible!!!
Antoine was fresh as fuck! he is just one all around dj! Id go to see him at any party if anyone is looking to bring him out again... Main room and B.C. room looked sick~!! Sound sucked in the lobby and the mixer wasnt even red-lined.. = ( Daaahhhwell.. Better luck next time Twisted = ) |

all's i gotta say is that dj antoine is the fuckin' man. definitely one of the best house sets i've heard in a while. wicked tunes, good crowd interaction, a class act and overall just a cool guy.
i also gotta give props to azim for pulling through with all the headliners despite taking a heavy loss with the low attendance. he could have easily cut a couple of headliners due to pre-sale, but he stayed true to his word and took a loss. hopefully he'll get more support for his future parties. |

Twisted, yet again, out did themselves with lighting, visuals, and sound. DJ Bossi and Antoine were excellent, and rocked both rooms. I had a great time... despite the number of people there. Bumped into a few "old" faces, and met some new ones, which was nice. Props to the Azim, Kraig, and the rest of the Twisted crew for a job well done. See ya all on New Year's :kimmie: |

It's funny that there is so much Seattle vs. Vancouver stuff in this thread.....funny because I was AT a Seattle party the night of Simple! I was down there for Bad Boy Bill, etc....(the Dynamo Thanksgiving party at Northgate Music Theatre)
And also odd how people are talking about how much better our dancers are! I completely agree with that! It's funny because the Seattle people totally agree too! When a few friends and I went to Seattle for The Crystal Method/Aphrodite, etc, I was approached by a costume designer and asked to come down for the Bad Boy Bill show and get paid to dance onstage! :kimmie: Very flattering! (and that's why I was down there rather than at Simple!) One of my other friends got tons and tons of compliments on her dancing, as well. That's enough to convince me that Vancouver people DEFINITELY know how to dance better! And we do dance much more! Seattle's lineups are really good though....too bad we couldn't integrate......take the Vancity people and the Seattle music and have SUPERparties! Glad to hear so many had fun at Simple! Wish I coulda been there! But I had a great time, too! :c-tard: |

my night started off great.....to cookies + cream, hirshee man u fucking rocked that shit! then i basically ran all over the place all night.......sat thru volume + neutrons sets....nothing really to get up for......caught 10-20 mins of antoine......and heard bits and pieces of mainstage headliners when i was goin for a smoke.... all in all bet set of the night goes to hirshee..... and on another note, ryan + eric both rocked volume + neutron! as for shouts myles - man shit........lol all i can say......blue hair anyone? kraig - k, i'm fucked *adam stumbles off* sixpakstack - nice seeing u again man! been a long time, hope to see u more often everyone else.........BWAHAHAHA |

Overall a great party.......tho the threater was gone......but still had a wicked time upstairs.....too bad I miss Antoine's set.....spend the whole nite upstairs....Love to see ppl dance...and the B-boys...you guys are great..
