Its been a LONG time sence my last plaza party... And its cool to see things are pretty much the same as always i guess?
The breaks rooom was grand, a lot of vibey ppl, same goes for the theater room, I realy like how its getting known as the funky house room!!! A lot of good vibey ppl who dont need drugs... good on yeah! I just wish they didnt have so much talent playing at the same time, and for the main room, I guess those noise complaints have realy taken into account sence the sound just didnt reach the balcony like it use too :( nice work, I had heeps of fun and good to be back ! :) |

hey i thought the party rocked....cinto your still the best in my eyes for breaks....well i hope everyone that got a free 7knights tshirt at the party that i was throwing out to the crowd enjoys them and likes the designs....and a special thumbs up to azim and craig for the much apreciated work they are doing and putting on for the vancouver scene.......the seatlle crew also for coming up and just ripping shit up with all us crazy as canadains eh.......well thats it ......peace..
ps...yes we will always be giving out free seven knights gear at twisted parties for now on so those that didnt catch a shirt better luck next party....... |

Hmmmmm... okay now... where do I begin?
Set reviews that I heard as I was running around through-out the night: 1.) Aaron Simpson - not bad man... not bad at all! You had that crowd just rollin! Nice work dude. 2.) Josh the Funky 1 - I only heard about 10-15 minutes of it but in that time, Krafty and I sat back and were commenting on how tight this guy's scratching has gotten! Dude has some crazy talent that's for sure and from what I heard, he lived up to his name and played the funk. 3.) Krafty Kuts - off da hook! I mean, the first couple of tracks, Precise had already played but then he dug deep into the crate and played a few brand new unreleased productions of his own... DAMN! Crazy set indeed... no complaints from me. I agree that it was no where’s near Skool of Thought but nor should it have been… Skool of Thought focuses more on Nu-skool sounds. 4.) Matt the Alien - did a great job as well! Wicked scratching and mixing of both Drum n'Bass and even some Hip Hop. I can see why Mat is creating quite the storm up in Whistler. 5.) Cinto - I heard part of your set but not all of it. From what I heard from all my friends there, you rocked it. Better yet, you rocked it with your tracks and your productions for the most part! 6.) Precise - I didn't get to hear most of your set as I had to go pick-up Krafty Kuts but from the last couple of tracks you were playing, I could tell you layed it all down! -- You can thank me later for advising you to unleash your talent of the scratch when Krafty was watching you... Krafty gave you MASS props in thedjvibe.com video! Even said that "YOU enspire HIM to try new things!" 7.) Dig Dug and Sir Kutz - HOLY SHIT... That room was absolutely bumpin... so much so, the entire room was shaking! I stood back for a sec with Hirshee and I was like, "dude, feel the room..." - crazy movement as a result from what these boys were layin down. Dig Dug's mixing never ceases to amaze me... I learn something everytime I watch him. 8.) Dave Armstrong - I checked out his set for a couple of tracks which turned out to be all his own! Unbelievable and high quality productions coming out from Dave. He rocked it. 9.) Hirshee and Christian Alvarez - I was choked I missed your sets dudes... I didn't leave that room when Krafty was up. All in all, I thought the party went fairly well. I would agree with Dave though about the main stage... great idea on Azim's part, just a bit impersonal! I liked the simple setup of the Breaks room and the House room though... more intimate... decent visuals and the systems (thanks to Precise’s tweaking in the Breaks room by the way) were actually sounding pretty decent in both those rooms... with the exception of skipping needles in the BC Room. The main room is a different story but we can thank the city for that. The show sold out so thanks again to all those that came out to support Twisted at our signature show... Stay tuned for further information as it is released about "Breathe" coming up on Saturday, July 5th @ the PNE Coliseum! |

i'm no junglist, but there was definately not enough
 i love plaza parties, and i love barstars...there was way too many hot people there! ...mmmm sooo many hot boys, and girls! there was a lot of young people there as well...i saw some namer old man with a little kandy kid girl, sick! i wasn't dressed to rave, it was a last minute thing...but i stayed till the morning and danced my dance:) i don't know anyone anymore! there was a lot of familiar faces...but sooo many new kids that i never knew about! but yea... :trippin: |

-- you are right dude that I MUCH dig Breaks more than Trance/Hard House. From those that really appreciate his kind of music, I heard Armin played an awesome set. He was playing pretty much the same time as Krafty Kuts and there was no way I was missing the set of one of my idols as far as Breaks producers/DJ's go.

okguys i need super big help here..who ever was in the thatre room for whoever played before HIRSHEE.....not hey played a song...with a guys voclals throughit saying thhti bout like scince stuff.and like random stuff bout africa and international stuff? said to liek a funky tune almost like....ah fuck i dunno!!!! i just need thsi song..hahaha i knwo there wil be know luck ..cuz i cant explain what it wasl ike..but it was very close to the end of his set ..very end..but anyways TWISTED WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! AMRIN I LUV YOU!:D shouts to all you FnKers ...didnt get a chance to meet alot of you ..i wa sthe kid int he blue and white fun fur though! so yea allin all a great party!

good stuff ! my high lite was the bass sick boys super funky and the crowd was goin off, the sound in the main room was sad but i dont care i was hardly in there and Cinto that busta beat is already out on planetxusa.com , so busta beat aint just neutron ah? i was hoping you would play "take me away" it would have ripped never the less good stuff! oh ya i bit too much nu skool weres the rowdy florida?? haha its all good

KRAFTYKUTS ahhhhhhhhhhh. okay that was the biggest highlight of my night..definately a shared bday present! he started off with all familiar tracks ,which i absolutely love.. then pulled out newly produced stuff (im guessing).. it was SO nice to hear some new breaks that was wayyy up in my standards. i was in love for a bit there... my love for breaks is slowly growing even more *sniff sniff*. hehehe
anyways i attended teh party extremly drunk cuz before the bag check i forgot courtney left the alchy in my bag and i chugged it right down in front of the security..(lol conor saw me tehehe). COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE SIR KUTZ AND DIGDUG'S SPEED GARAGE SET *slaps wrist*....GRRZ that was one of my reasons to go....stttoooopid drunken me. oh man flailed around in a battle circle forever....LOTS of fun....so much attitude..tehehe. i also reliezed something.. i felt a lil bit of...VIBE. whao eh? i actually met a lota ppl this party.. and they were cool ppl too..not sketchy scary mofos. i feel that the scene is picking up again....my opinion. there woulda been more vibe if the bc room was decorated even more *wink wink kraig* big thanks to twisted prod for all the hard work put into this show and it was a complete success! thanks for making my 2 years anniversary rararave and birthday thingy memorable and thanks for the special pass.. kraig..that was an overwhelming lil surprise! congrats....next up...BREATH! eh why not make this longer..i slept for 10 hours i have lots of energy now. i know a bunch of you grabbed tickets off me this show.. for those who made it easy for me..THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH... i really appreciate it. there was one too many pain in the asses...and all i can do is.. hmm.. :finger: i hate you all. yah. twisted 2003 is holding the record right now! :hehe: Last edited by bebu*funfun; Apr 20, 03 at 06:31 PM. |
