Didn't run into too many people as I was there from 6 to 7am. *waves to all the people that I bumped into*

The setup in the main room was spectacular :284: Shouts to the ShyBrothers and Uh-Oh for a great job. (Stan, have you slept yet? LOL!)

Lots of soothers and newbies... I think I even saw Myles with some green glowsticks :hehe: *rave rave rave*

Great party all in all. Hope everyone had a good time. See you at Spooky 8! :kam:

Huge props to the people who put this show on. The setup was amazing, and the level of work that must have gone into this is admirable.

I left at around 3:30 because I was tired, but I really enjoyed myself. Future Breeze was cheesy as fuck, but I actually enjoyed it because he seemed like a really friendly, fun party-dude. The screaming on the mic was hilarious, hahaha. Despite some of his songs making me cringe I still really enjoyed it because you could tell he was partying and that he loved it.

I was really impressed with Johan Gielen. His mixing was a little sketch, but I loved his tunes. Here's what me and my gf came up with for tracklisting:

1. DJ Dango vs. Rob Styles - Aragon (Katana Intro mix) vs. PQM - You Are Sleeping (Acapella)
2. ID
3. ID (know this tune, trying to find it)
4. Underworld - Born Slippy (? remix)
5. Madonna - Music vs. Mr. Oizo
6. ID
7. Sensation - The Anthem 2003 (Robert Gitelman mix)
8. Ron van den Beuken - Timeless (Ron van den Beuken mix) - AWESOME!
9. ID
10. ID
11. Fingers Burnt - For a Devil
12. Poloroid - So Damn Beautiful (Dogzilla mix)
13. DJ Tiesto - Traffic
14. ID
15. ID
16. ID
17. Ricky Fobis - No Regular
18. ID
19. ID
20. Rank 1 - Breathing

I left at this point, 30 minutes left in his set, so not sure what he played after that.

Either way, props to the promoters because this was a great show and I'm lucky that I got to play here.

Oh yeah, great sets by Jessi Hills and Hirshee too!

That was a pretty dope party, really good sound. But there were treble problems in the breaks and dnb room from time to time, and sometimes the volume was kinda low?? Damn, there were hella hot girls, and overall I'd say there was a good vibe there. But one thing, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO SHARAZ???????????
As 4-mula said earlier, sharaz was the main reason I went, I was really fuckin' choked that he wasn't there, I'd like to know why.....
Gumbee and faline were pretty good, nothing great though, although there were some rippers dropped. Dj rap was a pleasant surprise, I didn't really know what to expect, but she ripped it down!!! Ak 1200 came pretty nice, although I thought that his set ws kinda stagnant at points, well in the middle and the end, but the beginning of his set was some mean business!!! Good party guys..

Richard Pyra, Form & Kaos, K-Pryde, Blunted & On The Rokks played sick sets at the very poorly planned renegade stages. I spent most of my dancing time infront of these stages. This was due to Sharaz being booted off cuz of Rap or some other BS. Faline spun a great set even though I left half way through cuz it was too damn hot. Gumbee rocked the stage and I even got a 12" signed.

I noticed that there were a lack of females at IMF. :soak: There were a few hotties though. Blah. Still kinda pissed about Sharaz. AK1200 layed down a pretty nice set, not dark enough though for me though. Oh ya, DJ Rap your bodyguards are crazy. I wanted 2 ask one of her bodyguards a question and she just shook her head. :finger:

First off props to Uh Oh and Shy Bros for throwing a dope ass show... And they were rite when they said it's gonna be a european style setup (not that I've ever experienced but have see photos and videos), and it looked as euro as can be from what I saw holy shit that was dope I loved it... The breaks room was way too hot and that our posters got taken down and spending like 25 to 30 minutes on it man what a waste o well what can u do jimmy did warn us about that might happening, note to self to listen next time u were rite jimmy... All the dj's rocked it I especially liked lets see o everyones set except for dumonde which was a dissapointment but what ever... Johan rocked it last nite from what I understand, locals rocked it like usual at all the parties... Jimmy that is good after just been spinning for like 6 months bro good job on the fix bro ;)... Great seein everyone that I saw last nite it was good seein everyone have a good time last nite woohoo... Thanx to Christina and Mal for putting up posters in the girls washroom ;), Shadi, Anaya, Salima, Tina, Neal (saw the flyers on cars when I got to the parking lot bro), Anjew, Gary, Lawrence, Angela, Shaun (deebs can't wait to hear ur set at Phase One bro) for helpin out quite a bit last nite with the promos and neone I missed sorry but a bit scetched out lol.. it was an allright party. obviously the main room was absolutly incredible. the visual side of things was amazing.

however (and this is a BIG however) WHAT THE FUCK was the "stage" that the locals played on? it looked like a home stereo system. and the placement of it, all hidden away in the corner with the flouresent lights on, it seemed like such an afterthought. what an insult to all the local djs.

it just really seemed like all the money and effort went into dressing up the main stage, and there was little attention put into the other stages. there was also technical issues all through the night with the house and breaks stage... i didnt see a techie in sight either. =p

it was a serious dissapointment that sharaz didnt play. from what i understand, gumbee, faline, and sharaz were treated pretty poorly.

best sets of the night: Hatiras! (unreal!! =)) Hirshee, Cinto/Adam, and Faline laid down some pretty heavy shit! haha, i had a good time ;)

ok, well I think I can write something now to back up Sharaz...

Well he got in on Friday night and I met up with him at the hotel along with Gumbee and Tony Faline. We found out all the time slots and as they were originally suppose to play was Gumbee 11-12:30 Faline 12:30-2 Rap (she winked at me and smiled) 2-4 Sharaz 4-5:30 and AK1200 5:30-7... but as we looked closer into things, Sharaz's flight was leaving at 7:30 am so this was going to be cutting it close. Saturday during the day Sharaz, my bro and I all went to the venue to set up his Drum Machine, and Cumputer. everything was well. While we were there we talked to one of the promoters into looking into switching tony and sharaz so that he wouldn't be in such a rush to catch his plane! the promoter said yes, made some calls.. and when it came down to talking to tony about it he didn't want to. Though him and Gumbee are here till monday! anyway... we get to the show around 11pm to show around 11pm so we could watch gumbee and tony play and so we could hang out and have fun with everyone, and so sharaz could get footage for his 2nd DvD.
Gumbee laid down a Very Very awsome set which I enjoyed a lot. and then it was tony's turn, who also was layin down some sick shit, though, yes, it wasn't florida breaks, When all the sudden another one of the promoters came up and told him to get off 30 mins into his set cause ak1200 was going on? meanwhile tony's like WTF. and the promoter said that that was the line-up the whole time? now at this point there is a lot of confusion, which tends to happen at event event let alone a large one of this magnitude. so then after a lot of thinking ands talking and all that jazz, they left tony playing and were going to continue with the schedual as planned. so then Rap goes on and my god did she play awsome or what! and again she smiled and winked at me.. lol ( I think she wanted me, seriously HAHA) during her set ak1200 comes back and the promoter now says that he's going on again. Now at this time things are gettin crazy again! so Sharaz says you know what, i''m just gonna pack up my stuff and go. The only think he could think of the whole time was how bad he felt about doing this to you all, and repeated it many time over and over and over again! so we unpacked all his stuff while Rap was playing, thank you to her for being such a good sport in letting us do this, while she was droppin a dope ass set! So then I take him back to the hotel and he calls his agent to figure out WFT went wrong here.
I got back to the show and AK1200 was almost done when the promoter asked if i would go on again. and I didn't want to leave you guys hangin, no matter how tierd and stressed i was, because the whole time during my set all I could think of was how dissapointed everyone was going to be, how Sharaz was soo sorry that this all happened this way, and then how tierd and hot it was, so bassically my mixing skills weren't there, cause i used them all up earlier with Adam on the system that is quieter then my studio.. lol BUT STILL HELLA FUN... All in all I hope you guys still enjoyed yourself. and once again I can't stress how much Sharaz is sorry it came to this but i hope you guys can understand that he wouldn't have been able to play and catch his flight if he did stay and play the 5:30-7 slot.

Now for all the other Djs I caught at least part of their sets.

Jesse hills - Sick bro, and it's been a long time man!
Hirshee - awsome like always my man!
E. ferreira & Akeel - awsome job guys, sick music!

and i'm really sorry to the rest of you, but i was running around like i was throwing the even tryint to figure out a way to get sharaz on there earlier?

I saw a lot of cute gurl whom i wanted to go up and say hi to, but i'm shy, oh well... lol

anyway, i'm not gonna leave a shout out cause i know i bumped into at least 1253.75 people the somehow knew me or I knew them? so again Sharaz is very very very sorry and i hope you guys enjoyed your night anyway!

Cheers,
Cinto

PS: Unfortunalty this may have been the breaking point for sharaz, no pun intended! and perhaps gumbee and faline too but in a different way!

"WE LOVE BASS DRUM!" :D

OMG, WHAT A KILLER NIGHT. Thats prolly about the closest you can get on the main stage to an event like Sensation or Trance Energy in Holland. MAD props to EVERYONE who made this event possible. WICKED SHOW! :D Also loved the cameras mounted on the mainstage giving us a birdseye view of the DJs doin what they do best. ;) definately a night to remember

PS. Anyone got any info on a tracklist for Future Breeze? I really REALLY want to get a few of the tracks they dropped..

Damn... Big up cinto on the effort man!!! Oh, and bout the mixing, I think I heard a couple things go wrong, but other than that you''re mixes were fuckin' wicked.. as usual!!!! And thanks for shedding some light on the situation, I think I kinda feel better, well, not exactly haha.. I'm a 'lil sketchy right now, I only had 4 hours of sleep, but this situation dosn't seem to add up for some reason. Shouldn't the timeslots have been changed prior, since sharaz had to bounce at 7:30, didn't eveyone know that beforehand. If he had wanted to go on earlier for say, shouldn't he have been able to, since he was the headliner and all. I don't know, this just doesn't seem right, Fuck, I really wanted to see him, oh well, it's in the past..

What was that breaking point comment about?

Akeel and Emmanuel Ferreira: top notch! Great drums by Akeel, just spectacular! Great sets from the rest of the locals too, you all made the best of what you had to work with.

I am way too tired to give everyone I saw shouts rite now, but I just wanted to thank everyone who came out and supported the locals at the less "attractive" stages.

Also, special thanks to everyone still goin off at area 4 from 5-6. I was in a rotten mood when I started (I had gotten into a fight with someone just minutes before I was on), but seeing you guys go off picked me up!

....sleep now, more later
cheers

(PS.. so that's why the fader didn't work!!! tsk tsk Akeel... :301: hehe)
