i had a decent time at the party, the main room obviously was insane but like many people have mentioned the other stages could have used a bit more work. i didn't catch many of the headliners, but it seemed like the majority of them played pretty well. i really wanted to see darude's we love bass thing he did, sounds like it was hella dope. I did manage to catch bits and peices of hatiras set which was pretty bangin'. eric and adam also layed it down pretty nicely, along with ryan ross and jesse. good sets also by fnk, akeel/e-man and shawn. overall uh-oh and shybros did a decent job, props.
venita - good seein' ya again, i can't believe you lasted through the weekend without any sleep. TAPENGA! adam- we needed more drinks! i felt like shit too after that bk. kraig - how was the ride in the mornin'? :kam: myles - OBVIOUSLY! hammered - i totally wanted to see you flail to house. eric - nice set brotha! it was nice seein' everyone else there too, see ya at the next one. :smoke1: |

Well, don't we all sound like a group of old ladies discussing our last name of bridge. It's like a hang out for local no-name djs who can't make it in the scene. Just because you can't promote your own show or even get on at the 2nd stage of another show does give you the right to diss everyone else. Face it, most of you should go hang out at house parties and learn to DJ so you can do somewhere. Akeel and Mr. Dave are the only ones with a head on their shoulders. Maybe if we got our heads out the clouds and actually counted the amount of lighting and sound gear in the 2nd and 3rd room and just maybe gave it like 10 seconds though we would relize that most of the people on this form can't count. This show obviously had top quality production, with several million dollars worth of equipment on the show, it is only logical that you might have one or two items with some problems (aka the turntable and amp, even though I personally think the turntable was broken by the DJs, I'll give you "locals" that).
Seriouly, open your eyes and wake up and send one or two seconds thinking before writing, it will make most of you seem 100% smarter. no names here you all know who you are!!!! See you all on the next show playing and hanging at the 4th or 5th stage were your lack of talent leaves you. |

DJ_Billy, you have got the wrong attitude there buddy. There has been more than 10 people so far saying that the setup lacked. Even people who werent djs saying that. Why dont you take that as constructive critism and quit bitching like all of us are idiots.
When the sound sounds good, the people say it does. When the sound sounds like ass, people say it does. Mabe you should concentrate more of your efforts learning how to set your own gear up better than deffending yourself and pointing your finger at everyone else on here. Its clear you had a part in the show |

wow, i had tons of fun at IMF, probably one of the best parties i've been to... except i was so busy buzzing around from one stage to another, i never really got to fully experience one full set... hehee except for Richard Pyra's, which was deadly... (see earlier post)
I liked Future Breeze and Gielen, and Darude was pretty cool how he was makin stuff on the spot, and using recordings from the crowd... The breaks room was almost too hot, I came out dripping wet after only 5 minutes... It was probably my first real biggg party, and it was cool seing everyone so friendly... i met some ppl, but kinda forgot most of their names :S However, there was this one dude, that i just tapped his back to walk behind him, and he turned around and said "What the Fuck. You cant fucking touch me, want me to fuck you up?" I was pretty startled actually, and I kinda noticed how many "bar stars" are startin to hit up raves, and show up just to either seem cool, or pick fights... and totally could care less about the music, or people... i really dont like it, anybody else have an experience like that?? What do u think?? anyway, just wanted to thank everyone for makin my big party experience a good one, and for the ppl that i may of met and forgot, HEY!! I was the guy with the J hat :D hehe... if anyone remembers me, drop me a line! p.s how do u post pics on this thing? |

ok...so my review's a little late, but screw you bastards' drama.
area1: future breeze laid down a nice set. johan was pretty good, i think he played the trainspotting song, and i ran my ass down there pretty quick. darude's opening was funky fresh as previously stated. dumonde was AMAZING. i couldn't leave the front for their set. just amazing. their crowd interaction was awesome considering how far back they were. area2: rap was awesome, rocked it there. so damn hot. ak1200 was owning like his usual self. so damn hot. sharaz. well that sucks. but oh well. i'd have spent more time here, but the heat and the fact that the trance stage was going off limited my time. area3: pretty happening once the lights weren't so bright. good job fellas. area4: you guys got jacked. that blows. but you guys trucked on like pros and kept going. definite A for effort. props. shy/uhoh if you're gonna have additional stages, put in the effort. it's like buying a ferrari and not having enough gas money. GGW: smoke pit chick YOU SO DIRRTY GIRL. uh, holy grabby cakes batman :) you got me hyped up, thank you HO TRAIN. CHOO CHOO!!!!! props to my buddys at the party, everyone had a good time. my buddy marco hookin up the autographs. got ak1200, dumonde, darude and johan w00t w00t :hehe: PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT. that's great if your a big built roid monkey, seriously if that's your thing, good for you. but could u put on a shirt, use some fuckin pit stick, and not dance with your arms up please? common courtesy please. some serious b.o. like i mean choking on it shit. thank you. great party. |

Oh yeah, bout them lifeguards, and I'm not kidding about this either. Some shirtless dude walked by me, and as he did I got a huge whiff of sun-tan lotion, it was fuckin' classic!! That guy was hillarious, he must've been doing it on purpose or somethin'?
