one suggestion for the next party: instead of having that crappy monitor and subwooder, just get another speaker just like the front ones and use it as the monitor.. the one that was used, was WAYYYYY too quiet, so all the djs kept on cranking all the channel gains, the master and the booth monitor, which was causing feedback, the mixer was clipping (not all the time, but it was certainly in the red constantly) because of this cranking of the mixer, the bassbins and amp had to be turned down to compensate.
so i think if we got a big speaker for the monitor, all of these audio ailments would be avoided. and egor.. overall, great first party man. didnt get busted which is always a plus. but unfortunately due to the fact that my needles were stolen and other minor mishaps, i won't be bringing my decks, or any other equipment to a party unless i get paid. bottom line. its a pain in the ass to haul shit like that around (without cases mind you) so its nice to get something for it. ya feel? just a thought. that said, im still lookin forward to the next party egor. :y: |

The party was off the chainz!
Big ups to all the dj's who threw it down. Honourable mention goes to Rhia Wellbelove for a tight d'n'b set (the girl has nuff skill). Psidream holding it down as usual w/ all the freshies. Big ups to Sully for smooth set. The guy in the bathroom who slipped and fell onhis own puke was just classic. I can't believe the dude try grabbing my pant leg with his puky hands after he fell in his own vomit. way to go rockstar! a special hello to Lola Phyne for having some sexy dance moves :202: Shout outs to all the hot russian ladies I couldn't even say hello tp w/o having some big ass russian dude all in my face. All the single ones should have been wearing name tags or something. shout outs to anyone who hooked me up w/ a beer, toke, rails, and gropping action -- you all made my night extra special. :202: so many people there last night i want to shout out too. You know who you are!! big ups to Egor for putting this together. ^actually i just talked to josh average citizen, he has them! needles have been recovered.
he saw some sketchy dude by the tables near the end of rhia's set, and grabbed them just in case. so they're safe :) thx josh, i owe ya one! :) |
