This sucks. I wonder when it will go away. I can't talk, I can't eat, can't swallow without being in extreme pain, and it's hard to sleep. |

Kiss was good once it got going. The white banner things in the main room made the lights look extra good... decorations in general were actually pretty cool.... But I'd still rather go to a bigger party. PNE is a great location and it's awesome that so many people can get together like that... plus, I imagin wouldn't over-sell like Riverside did... That would be fairly ghey.
8/10 from me.. You really can't go wrong if you're at a rave. |

Naw, I didn't read through all them.. mostly just scanned..
If they weren't oversold, why couldn't people get in, and why were they waiting outside for hours? When I went to the bathroom, I saw two people leave, and security let two in... And from what my friends had said, I just gathered they oversold tickets. What happened? (the point remains that being stuck outside would be shitty, and I don't think that happened at either of the PNE parites I went to) |

Then you actually had the nerve to call me and ask for guestlist and I laughed and thought you were kidding but you were serious. Chump Thats why you didn't go Thats not what you were saying here http://www.fnk.ca/board/showthread.p...69#post1111669 Quote:
What I think the problem was is that so many door sales people came early cause they knew it was sold out. And some ticket holders came late and got stuck in the line up. There are ways to control that situation but one muxt understand that I've been doing this for 5 years now and I can honestly say it's easier said than done. This has happened to every promoter out here that has thrown a big party. It sucks. But I do my best to reslove the situation and ensure that everyone is compenstated Overselling 100 tickets just isn't worth it to us. We have to do refunds. Thats a huge hassle and really messes with our accounting. Also we lose peoples faith. Not only are those 100 people upset and don't want to go to my future parties but they tell their friends. It's simply not worth it if you're in it for the long run. If I was anything other than honest I wouldn't have such a good trusted name after 5 years. Ask around to some of the people who have been around for a while and they'll tell you whats up =) Last edited by AGROculture; Feb 17, 05 at 01:58 AM. |

I was stuck to the ground upstairs in the other room, being retarded. I mean, how many times can a person misplace all their items within an hour *while SITTING DOWN?!* Man, that was ridiculous. No more drugs for Dawna. There was this girl messing with my head, too.. I vaguely remember asking her the same questions over and over.. and each time, she gave me a different answer.. as if she was aware she was fucking with my head.. to this day, the mere thought of that still sketches me out. |

The PNE has been in the siuation I was in for Spooky 2 years ago. We were very careful not to oversell. Our presales + our guestlist left us room for a certain amount of door sales. We did get to the amount of door sales that we knew we could get in. Even a bit more give or take 20 (Which isn't much for a party that size). As stated before it really doesn't matter how many people are inside but rather how full the fire marshal and/or police think it is. They will shut the doors down when it's full. I tmay be over capacity or under. Unfortunatly there is no real official number. What I think the problem was is that so many door sales people came early cause they knew it was sold out. Wow. I'm super delayed on making a post about this party. My good god was I WRECKED. Haha I'm sort of emberassed. But yea I did have tons of fun I don't remember much. Hmm well I'll try n mention who I do rememeber meeting haha uhm...that fnk meet was pretty sketchy I kinda wandered off but MY sharpie was used to make the sign. I feel bad for totally forgetting who I was talking to while getting it out of my purse, but they were like why do you have a sharpie?! haha PRISSYPANTS best contract ever! Seika your awesome! (dun know if you made an account on here) I do remember meeting some pretty cool people though, just forget names. SO if I met you (black and blonde hair, black long sleeved zippy thing with blue and pink writing) and looked funked up, I'm not even exaggerating. Holla at me! I don't feel like making one of these huge story reviews but it's happening that way anyways.
David Garibaldi was INTENSE that's the one thing that I clearly remember happening, I have even more reason to like the track money shot! ASHES! we finally met, for a whopping 5 minutes! but yea, like I said if you met me than dun be shy and pm me or somethin, I'm thinkin I need to start knowin some more party people |
