okkkkk review time
thanks for the all the feedback on decos! we tried to focus more on upstairs than anything year and it just worked out that way. its difficult to deco the mainstage a lot, but we tried. (trust me). more red/white? uhhh ill try to do more red and white next year. (i thought there was ONLY red and white at the party...?) anyways, i had a blast and meeting/watching david garibaldi made might MONTH. absolutely neat concept and i would love to see more performance visual art at more parties. definately someting fresh and new. best set that i caught of dj hirshee vs thomas mezey. the room was totally bumpin, loved the track selections! and also..mmmmm shark. my 2 bits on ppl commenting on lining up outside for a long time. you guys are SO spoiled with fast line ups...if u expect to line up for less than half an hour..u better be at the party at 10am latest. i saw ppl outside of the venue around 8:30. Agroculture AND bassline both informed fnk about the sold out presales, and told all of you to line up early, especially if you dont have a ticket. there will always be complications at the door at every party (security checks and the large amount of ppl wanting to buy tickets at the door). I know persoanlly dave was very aware of the sold out presales, and the MAIN priority is to get everyone with a presale to be in the venue as fast as possible. but unfortunately there is NEVER a fixed number of capacity at any legal venue here in vancouver...and when the fire marshall or anyone with power takes a look at the venue and strictly say "its at capacity" unfortunately teh door would be delayed. there will be refunds for those who dont get in as dave already noted. i think a good majority of you eventually got in and enjoyed the party. back in the day the lining up part was just as fun as the party itself... i duno about that now?... next time when presales are sold out.. just get ready a bit faster go down to the venue asap. my 2 bits. cya at kiss 2006!!! |

The poarty was fun... met sum new people and saw sum old friends i havent seen forever. Kiss 04 was my 2nd party and first Massive so for 1 year of partyin now always good times at kiss. Cya all next year well at the next party too but ya .

WOOOOO....KISS 2005 was pretty fuckin good as most of us could say....i was candy-flippin, and light-trippin all night, it was a blast!!! the only problem was that the floor was glistening with puke:388: ...and the bathrooms,well, that was ground zero lol

omg
well furst off,dave props to the decorations! i loved it! it was so pretty-ful it was alot better than a plain grungy rave,looked a little higher class if you know what i mean,the music was really good,steve a. fucking tore the place apart,that chick dj was fucking fly but some of here italian techno was cheesy.
NOW...i have a fucking bone or two to pick,i went to this party completely sober cuz that extasy shit has gotten really old really fast,correct me if im wrong but i seen like mabey 20 ppl that werent on drugs lol,but wat can you do. now being sober was really hard ,cuz it hard as hell to deal with the magority of the e tards there,so i decided(AS FUCKING ALWAYS) to smoke weed n drink red bull,and at other partys ive puffed doobs infront of gaurds n shit all the fucking time,i dont think ive ever been stealth,and like always becuase i am a cronic i smoke j's wen evar wur evar.but sum stupid fat rent-a-cop hindu decided to change things,now being 5 am in the moring after 3 redbulls and like 6 fattys dancing like nuts all nite i was pooped,and i swear to gawd if i was on e this wouldnt of happen cuz my head woulda been so much more clearer.the gaurd asked me wats in my hand and stupid ass me said a ciggerette lol and he asked to see it and yah i was outa thur faster than a e tard flailing,SO FUCK YOU GENASIS SECURITYand im glad i made a scene dave this isnt your fault,i know you tried,and your party was off the hook for the most part. i guess you learn from your mistakes,i just feel insulted. and again fuck you you fucking rent a cops i was so cold outside for an hour and a half choked fucking scared shitless because i was being fucking harrased by pedifile asians hopped up on e and god knows what else.and the sicurty wouldnt do shit,until i talked to a cop. i guess this is wati get for not being like every one else.but fuckit cuz im glad im feelin fine as hel and rest of you are still nursing your post e hangovers i think the next party i go to im gonna smugle in the fattest fucking doob go out side spark it and smoke in front of all those renta cops and there gonna have to wait till i finis it or drag me outa there,with a fucking fight.and ill put that 5 inch roach right out on there fucking fake ass faces. ne ways harp myles rory nigle peter char pauleen and the rest of you ,SO FUCKING glad to see you lets do this agian sum time..the right way. i need to go to iligit. rave,and fast. cioa |

Well time to review the show.
Got there around 11:45ish to catch the show and I was disappointed for the first hour that I was there. Jimmy chou pounded the speakers the hardest out of all the locals. Threw in some alphazone, DBD aka Gaz West, some pretty wicked hard bass kickin tunes. Loved his set from the moment he started. He had the crowd jumping up and down the whole time. After that when DJ Keri came onto the decks, my natural high when down zero and I wasn't feeling it after that. I left early at like 2:30. Saw quite a few of you guys there. I heard Dj Dana aka lady dana rocked the crap out of the crowd. Too bad I missed out but I was hoping to catch her set. Props to bebu and her crew for decking the place out. I enjoyed the decorations as it definitly made the vibe better. Props to Dave and Rick for throwing another successful show. See you all at Insomnia 2005 at the same place =) |

The fact is that we did not oversell
Our estimated presales + guestlist were well below the capacity. We sold a bunch of door tickets. When the cops or fire marshal feel like shuting the doors down, they do. At first the wanted to shut it down at 700 people. They didn't believe us. We had to run out and get the permit to show them the real capacity. Then they shut down the door when they felt we reached that number. Then from there on for every one person that left, one would be allowed in Genisis security were actually really good just cause the fact that they felt bad for everyone in the line and kept letting people in. 2 for every 1 that left |

Definitly a good party, ... Dave you did it again! I didn't end up spending much time at all in the trance room and/or listening to trance in general. I kind of just viewed all the action from the upstairs balcony.
PRECISE: Such a sick set by the time I entered the breaks room around 11:20 I believe it was lol. Mr.Mezey & Hershy: Wow, just wow! Everything was ROCKING during the set. I don't believe I saw many people who were sitting down :P Harp: Did you do drugs!? LMFAO! I don't think you need to answer that question bro. It's all good. Margie: I fucking <3 you so much. Thank you for doing so much driving around to get to the party and then AFTER the party as well. I didn't mean to be so bitchy before we got into the venue. I was just so hungover from all the wine I drank earlier that day + the bottle of gin after hahaA. James: OhH buddy. I swear at the EXACT same time again: you, Margie & I all walked into the same room and looked at one another just WRECKED and then walked away again ... Jessica and Roberta: Both of you girls were sexy as always. Roberta you were very drunk and I don't even think that we got the chance to battle. Jessica I repeatedly kept pinching your ass ;) My sister and phat crew: The majority of you were WRECKED. I don't think that I bought my own bottle of water. Steve thx for all the water that I kept taking off of you! Tyson, Rory & Kat: Nice to see all of you. Tyson I dragged you around the party to much and made you randomly bust out for people until you were just too tired and walked away. Kat we didn't spend enough time together once again: not good. Agro.Dave & House mate's: Thank you for letting James, Margie and I come back and sketch out at your place for a few hours. The TV and atmosphere was good along with all the pot lol. Overall it was fun times. Too bad that the party ended at 7:00 instead of 8:00, but ohH well, shit happens. I must say that Lady Dana did a fucking good job of pouding the hardstyle for the crowd! I can't believe I even took the time to write out a shout-out list lol. Advice for next time: Better set-up for the LINE OUTSIDE!
