I agree the lineup is really diverse, and I-emerge would be really dope, but the breaks/dnb room lineup for out of town talent isn't grabbin me. I agree with stringbeans, the lineup for dooms night was fuckin awesome. I really enjoy your guys' parties, but imo since dooms night the breaks/dnb rooms have been lacking big time.....

sup everyone
this party promises to be one unforgettable event! props to solid for assembling a stellar and diverse lineup! im looking forward to playing for everyone in area 3. just a brief intro on myself: this past year i've been DJing at a club in Beijing called Inner Affair, Beijing's premier electronic music club. Beijing has a thriving electronic music scene, much more than I had originally anticipated when I had arrived. Can't wait to lay down the Beijing sound for everyone! expect an energized set of progressive house mixed in with some tech house, which seems to be the genre of choice among some of Beijing's elite local DJs. so see you all there! and as a partier myself, looking forward to seeing some of the famous international acts coming in, and of course, the numerous and talented vancity DJs! |

some djs dont know how to keep their bpm constant... they go from 143 all the way to 154 i used to do that but i got accustomed that the ear tends to get used to the bpm within 5 mintues...making the brain think its slower. |

actually, pat.
Yoji Biomehanika is one of the few dj's who's songs never sound the same. Except for their drum machine. Pvd is known for his constant ride cymbal hits Picotto is known for his bass tweaked tracks Rank 1 is known for their anthem synths Yoji is always changing his tracks, adding his own made hoover, insane drum fills and sometimes going into break beats. Unfortunetly breaks dont follow any of the examples and even though they're very good sounding tracks. no 2 tracks will ever be different. Espicially breaks these days which all breaks dj's are saying that they're crap. I'm sure trance4life wouldnt be able to give you an answer like this though. |
