-All in all it was a fun time- good drive down, we saw randomly saw HyperFunk and checked out the club he was playing at before the showed- trying to find a place to eat near the venue was a bitch... walked and walked, Americans give shitty directions
-The line up for the party was retarded, it was like a giant mass of people, although it only took about an hour not so bad, walked another few minutes after getting searched sucked too soo cold -The set-up and decorations were good well thought out, all the stages were of equal size, Icey and Uberzones sets rocked, got pictures with both of them, haha AND ICEY KISSED ME ON THE CHEEK -Wow the slutty dressed girls... we saw one girl in a g-string and lingerie top.. wow... and sitting on the dirty cement.. eww -and yes for the dumb guy at the beer garden who checked my id but didn't look at the date! haha -Definatly a change from the Vancouver scene, I'd tottally go back, and Now for more sleep, staying up for over 24 hours no drugs yay!! yes for caffiene |

Alright what a long ass journey. Thanks Avana for driving us down; Nicole and Adam for the entertainment and problem solving.
Everyone there was great, danced and had a good time. Met some new faces and talked to all the usual suspects. I'm not going to list off everyone, but you know who you are. Msg me anytime. Good to see some interest in the DNB; the talent was amazing. Hive, didn't catch all of his set. He played a good variety, would go from something like 'true romance' to harder more breakier tracks. Ended his set with the Subfocus rmx of 'smack my bitch up.' This led into Aphrodite's cheeze fest: 'bounce' 'bounce' 'bounce' "Put yourrrrrr haaaands up." It was like the Johan Gielen of drum&bass complete with trashy backup dancers. That set had some fun moments, but the real deal was Dom. Straight up funk rollers. Lots of Gridlok, his own stuff, that sort of ish with some new neurofunk tracks that i haven't even heard yet. You guys are in for a treat when he comes up here. The sound was good if you danced in certain spots, lots of clashing of sounds with no isolation. There were a few technical difficulties here and there. I guess the MC did serve a purpose to make the crowd think it was part of the show heh. I'm Glad the drum&bass staged was tucked away. Influenza rocked the main stage. They even played an extra hour because of daylight savings. They played all the big hits on their sets along with some new bits and rmxs. They even switched up their set so it was different live. The people their were loving it. The bathroom facilities were massive which was great, although the vendors could be a bit more organized. There was 5 tables of rave crap but only one vendor of water. Which was out when i was dying for water. He screams at us for trying to take the lid so we can refill the pop bottle with water. So in the end we had to talk to security guards and go through this whole ordeal. That aside, the general crowd felt more like a concert. Just swaying around with girls on their shoulders like Guns and Roses were about to take the stage. There were groups of nice American partyiers out to have a good time. It was a mixed crowd of people from all over the place, and met some cool people. The locals who came down really made the night a good time. Glad to see everyone out and having fun which is what was most important. So the night ends in this weird afterparty at a house with a sweet sound system and chacters that uhh, can't be explained in writing. Interesting to see the differences in music and culture. They fed me full of weed and beer which didn't work well for trying to help navigate the driver home. Needless to say we got lost, hopelessly lost in another district of Northeast Places, Streets and Avenues. Screw that highway system. We got home just on the break of insanity. The end. |

Once again loved the party and i have the blisters on my toes to prove it! Only wish I was able to stay later then 2am :(. Did not get a chance to see alot of people of who i knew were there.(main reason i dont enjoy massives) All the coustums I saw were awsome the stewie one was by far one of the best. The beer garden was a perfect addage, to bad they ran out of bud and only had budlight at some point. Americans are really nice some odd but what population doesnt have the odd balls
Marige thanks for the ride and the company this weekend Blaze thanks for the breakfast brew J sharp dont know if your on here but nice house and thanks for letting me stay the night Clay Yes we did dance to trance thanks for reminding me Brit sorry for calling you kim nice seeing everyone eles till next time.... |

holy postwhores. this is the review thread. jerks.
this weekend has been quite the experience. thanks so much to avana, adam and my homeboy kam for the ride, and all the time we spent getting aquainted with the streets and hwys of seattle. haha oh and jack in the box is disfuckingusting in every way. i really wanna thank the seattle party kids for their hospitality and overall welcoming nature. especially those who smoked me up. so appreciated. i met some cool people at the party and had some decent conversations with a few, but overall the kids at this massive were so clueless. the party was full of suburban teenage trash getting fuckkked up in next to nothing outfits, with no idea of which dj was spinning infront of them or probably even what genre of music they were listening to. thankfully half of them must've had early curfew and were gone by 3 or so. oh, and they were good for entertainment... i must've smacked at least 77 girl's asses. a good 15 bare skinned. yeee haw!! there were some seriously sketchy moments throughout the night, including the venue RUNNING OUT OF WATER! there was absolutely nowhere to buy water but there was no shortage of glowsticks, rave toys, full body massages, or professional pictures for sale. please. oh. and no one could dance. wait, thats not true... there were some great dancers from vancouver there! thank god! it is seriously not fun to be dancing and have guys circle around you then try to bump and grind your backside. fuck off, learn to move!! thankfully i managed to escape this by dancing along side the sweet styles of some like, dsci4, jovi, erin, james, patrick, wyatt, michelle, and more. good times. that being said, some of the talent was amazing. minus aphrodite who is taking dnb to a new low with these cheesy build ups and garb clown. thanks for the fugees megamix though. hive was sick. dom and roland was insane. (can't wait for SOB!) i was definately feeling what i saw of crystal method and uberzone. and of course influenza was the perfect way to end the night, especially with the nice crew we had rep'n hard. the sound was awesome, except for the lack of sound curtains. it just wasn't pleasant walking around or being stuck too far away from the stage. i also had a fun at the afterparty we were invited to by our host. was good to take a peek into a corner of seattle's scene whilst blazing from the comfort of a sofa or campfire. |
