zombie personas in movies
What is with zombies/infected peoples in movies? It seems that they always carry the same kind of stealth killer villain persona these days?
Why are the zombies so strong, athletic, and fast? I thought they were sick and malnourished. Why do they have to eat ppl to survive? Whats wrong with other animals, fruit, and caned beans. Why do they have to be such killing machines? I cant think of very many animals in the world that are constant raging attackers. At least lions, sharks, and other viscus creatures plan their attack. Unlike the zombies who just range at anything like they're un-stoppable and seem to be able to track down un-infected humans better than an animal that has much better senses than humans to begin with. How are the zombie infected ppl so hard to kill off? Don't they ever run out of blood when there arm is half off or dont they get hurt when they're injured. I mean what is really running these things to be soo immortal. And how come when these viruses break out in movies, the infected ppl turn into these things? I love the whole idea of these movies and viruses breaking and ppl trying to survive, but why does it have to be such a scary jumpy movie. Last edited by R Wellbelove; Dec 22, 07 at 01:42 AM. |

I had seen every zombie movie I could find in the video store by the age of 11- so I consider myself something of a buff. I didn't waste my time on 28 days later- I won't bother.
fast zombies are wack. the whole reason zombies are cool is because they stumble around sloppily and still manage to get their brains and eat them too. Fucking retarded film makers these days |

i just don't understand this aboot zombies...if they have to eat people to survive why are there so many zombies? you'd think that a zombie would kill a person and then eat that person. if they eat that person then they can't become a zombie because they've been eaten.

I still hope that some day I can play a zombie extra in a movie because:
- it would be fun - you could show up half asleep or hungover and it would actually be to your benefit - all you gotta do is walk around slow and a little creepy like - you'd have a cool death scene in the movie. zombie death scenes are always the best Last edited by miss.myra; Dec 22, 07 at 12:06 PM. |

Am totally on board with this topic.
Just finished watching "I am Legend",. Those Zombies can pull off moves that would put a Terminator to shame. I'm sorry, a human body will simply not pull off the kind of moves that went on in that movie no matter how juiced a super-virus has it. |

the relative/important part is whether or not they did a good job. I enjoyed "28 days later", but didn't really like the zombies in "I am legend". |

Example, in the movie Blade when you see vampires jumping 20 meters and all this crazy stuff, the groundwork has already been laid for this, so it's believable. Unrealistic cinematic situations are just that, but they need to be believable within the framework of the story itself. |
