noisy neighbours
I'm trying to do homework and the girl who lives next door is bitching out her boyfriend (at least, I assume he's he boyfriend) AGAIN. This happens pretty much every single day around this time, and it's getting pretty damn annoying. I don't even understand why he comes by her room, all they ever do is fight!
I just finished banging on the wall but apparently they didn't notice or don't care. SHUT UUUUUUUUUP! |

we're staying in his dorm (read: free housing) until August, so crazy bitch and her boyfriend are my problem for a little while longer... |

annoying but you got sweet love to make it all better  plus you get bragging rights for NOT having a lame fighting relationship like that ;) |

not talking about galaxies relationship... but usually the hardcore fighting doesn't start until around a year into the relationship

isn't that totally against school policy? Guess you can't bitch about it to admin or you could easily get kicked out...

Nah, I'm allowed to be here. I'm just visiting, I was supposed to go home yesterday but my flight was canceled so here I am. Residents are allowed to have temporary guests, but no one is supposed to be "living" with a resident.

Yeah, hear you on that. I am temporarily living at a student residence that is converted into a hotel during the summer...
-I *love* being woken up at 2am by teens yelling and screaming in the hall when I have to be up at 5am to get ready for work. -I also appreciate unemployed summer students banging on my door to go party on a week day... and they don't understand why I don't want to hang out, even though I've explained numerous times that I have a full time job and my priority is career development. -I love going to the communal kitchen, only to encounter dirty pots and pans on the elements, and bits of food scattered and splattered all over the kitchen counter and floor -I love finding dirty dishes in the sink, which I have to constantly move OUT of the sink in order to do my own dishes -I love unclogging the kitchen sink of food (ie-overcooked macaroni) with my hands so that I can use the sink -I love that there is absolutely no room in the communal fridge/freezer because about 12 other floormates share it. I *can't* wait to move into my own place August 1st. Last edited by yoko*; Jun 12, 08 at 06:33 PM. |

Some D-Bag in the next hostel bed decided to call his bloke Chaaalie last night at about 3 fucking A.M. Then some other D-Bag thought it was necessary to wake me up to tell me he scored some coke at the bar, and did I want a sniff. WTF kind of trash come to Cancun?
Fucking shithole. |

Basically yes, but with a few exceptions:
Rooms are separate and include a Queen sized bed and pull-out couch, a television, bathroom, air-conditioning, internet, desk, drawers and closet-space. To me, those are significant differences that hostels don't provide and I am so thankful for that... (especially for my privacy). I don't think I could ever share a sleeping space with strangers. |
