that the cover pic for their "Fusion Dreams" video looks AWFULLY like this pic:

I mean sure i guess it's cool they used it but i don't remember them asking me if they could use it nor do i see the reason why they faded out the watermark i put on the lower right corner. Can't they use a vidcap off their own video?

or they should get you some mad vips or something. it's really in bad taste to take someone else's pic. even in worse taste to knowingly kill the watermark.

i'm not too sure about the legalities on this (anyone remember me and the kandy family thing?), but it doesn't really matter. it's quite impolite.

i've already sent them an email telling them to pull it off. The least they could of done was ask me or boodang if they could use the pic. But the amount of resources they have, i still can't understand why they need to use it.

I mean sure it's just a stupid tiny pic but it's still my pic. In a grander scale it's like writing a song or making or own track just to find out later some one else put it into their album as if it was theirs

hey man,

I sent you an email right away about this. I was given the pics from the Shy Brothers. I didnt fade any watermark because there wasnt one in the first place. ( I attached the original image to this post) Mike and Ben said it was cool for me to use the photos and to even post them in a DJVIBE.com gallery. It would have been cool if you could have straightened this out privately before you go on a board talking shit.

Regardless, I gave you photo credit on the site and I appologise for the confusion.

i think respecting one's copyright is a worthwhile effort. especially when someone is using it for promotional purposes.
