Thefts in BC seem to be be increasing,
A burglar broke into my house and stole a new computer a few months ago. He might have been driving around and saw everyone leaving and guessed that the house was empty. He was seen driving his pickup truck into the driveway and ringing the front door bell, then he went around the back and pried open a locked window with a small crowbar. So - watch out for guys who ring your doorbell and don't have a good story to explain why they are there. A man and his wife in a nearby condo saw the break-in but figured it might be me and maybe I locked myself out. So they didn't phone the cops! I was underinsured so that cost me a lot. I offered rewards to the pawnshop dealers and tried to find the burglar's truck, etc, but no luck. Now that you have been burglarized you probably feel less secure and might feel forced to spend time and money on extra security. |

That is absolutely awful, I'm so so sorry to hear that Maryah..
But, Veni made a good point about karma, i'm a strong believer in karma and the people that stole your valuables will definitely get what they deserve. I really hope things work out and you somehow get your stuff back, good luck sweety! |
