A couple of weeks ago when I parents left for 10 days, I was snooping in my mom's van, and I found a whold bunch of Divorce papers!?!?! I immediately hid them. I'll confront her about them later. They looked kind of old, with stains all over, but still. It freaked the shit out of me.

Dale my parents just split up after 20 odd years of marriage... I know it sucks believe me.

The best thing you can do is be there for both of them and not be biased. It's tough but they'll both need a shoulder to cry on no matter how amicable the split is. I'm dealing with all this as we speak.

thanks man. i'm still not too sure how to deal with it. such a shock really, though i should have seen it coming. i'd just grown so accustomed to the status quo that i didn't think there'd be an alternative to it.

Sorry to hear that! I've been there too. My parents split after 20 years. I unfortuneately was only 15, so on the bright side, at least you are old enough/mature enough to understand why. I don't think I really was at that time.
